There you go! Nothing much to say, just pictures! Enjoy!
I know most people would rather drive Skylines and Supras, but I’ve always had a thing for the SW20 Turbo... And eventhough it’s sold everywhere around the world, I never got to drive until yesterday. Well, it’s now done and guess what... I really like them!
I’ll post a video later this week... But that’s such a fun car! Tons of rear grip, very predictable when the tail goes out, not at all snap oversteery like so many complain about. Super enjoyable! I’ll buy more haha
Because it’s fun! Obviously... but also because sometimes, like with this one, there are problems... Here, it ended up being a small gasket leak. Small, but enough to make it puke its coolant all over the place if I were to shut down the engine (it’s the “good kind of leak” lol... exhaust gas into coolant.... not…
Homologation Special ftw! More on that later :)
Tight little car, lots of fun... But I’ll stand behind my opinion: The Cappuccino is the better car (and a lot cheaper at that...)
That’s it, after two years, something broke on the SA22C! Fuel pump... Ok, not much but still! My super reliable rotary has had a problem!
.... looks like my purchases are getting visible. :)
... Because Japan.
... Sunburst Yellow Roadster!! Really stoked about it! By far the nicest Miata I ever drove. Stock LSD makes it that much more enjoyable :)
But I love that picture of my car... I LOVE Shinkansen, and I love my car... Both in one picture: AWESOME!! :)
Damn did that feel good... This is the eastern road of the mountain... 10 minutes non stop without any single car in front of me! Still smiling thinking about it! First daylight run I ever got in Japan that lasted this long with no traffic. The car is a 1991 Honda Beat I bought for work and that’s basically an extract…
Well, I went back to USS Nagoya today and I thought you’d like a video about it :)
Some of them only... My camera-fu isn’t that great...
So I thought I’d share it here... Apologies for the wind and the total lack of preparation :)
.... he really shouldn’t have!
One of my favorite local road with another car I got recently. First time driving a Mk3 Supra... It’s the 1G-GTE engine with 210hp or so, but it’s fun nonetheless albeit a bit on the heavy side. With the long gears I can see the need for the extra 70hp or the 1JZ engine.
After over 2 years, I finally went around to buying front speakers for the RX-7! Those installed were long dead and I never found the motivation to change them. Up until now I only had rear speakers and let’s face it, over the sound of the car I couldn’t really hear anything on the freeway...
1992 Isuzu Gemini Irmscher R. Same as this one in red, with the factory mounted optional rally lights! 4WD, about 185hp, “rally tuned” suspensions or whatever that means and something so damn rare that I’m sure someone, somewhere, will want it!
It hit a post at one point but still cool nonetheless! I’m fairly certain it belongs to my wife’s dentist who raced Pikes Peak in 1988 in a Subaru Justy with Ari Vatanen. It’s parked at his office.
