I also bought my first Oldsmobile last year. An 87 Delta 88. That thing is a fucking couch on wheels. It’s so nice to drive. But nice in a relaxing kind of way.

There are a few I regret selling because I will NEVER find another one I can afford.

It’s not a good sign when they are already incorrect in their subtitle. I feel like the only writer on Jalopnik that cares enough to understand how IndyCar works is Elizabeth Blackstock. I’ve notice a couple times already when the other writers allude to IndyCars being unsafe but they never take the time to actually

The counterweight being low-mounted is key; you gotta minimize your moment arms about that front tire contact pitch.

The Unser family’s rise from plucky Pikes Peak nuts to Indy-car legends is awesome, you don’t see it much anymore. I was lucky enough to see him, Al Jr. and Parnelli Jones, with a couple others, on a panel. They were answering questions, swapping stories; the way they all joked and talked with each other, it was a

He did not just grow up racing on Pikes Peak... he held the record for two years. 1964 and 1965 at the ages of 24-25. A little over 12 minutes, open wheels, on dirt... LEGEND. RIP.

Big Al was an all timer. Was always super nice to me as a kid. My pops was his and Mario’s chief mechanic for a while at Vels, and part of Al’s 74-77 Indy 500 crews. Some extremely 70s pics of them together (some of them from my dad’s own camera), one with a cameo from baby Al Unser Jr:

This needs to be a movie, but as a buddy pilot road trip comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Actually fines in New Zealand are sheep.

This would explain why Minicraft offered a 1/144 scale model of this plane!

OK, but the crucial question is: was the flight overlaid on a map of the world, with a read line indicating the direction of its flight... and occasionally a man sleeping in a fedora?

I do like him and for the most part his stuff is well researched, but I think he might gloss over the reliability of a source from time to time for some embellishment. One video on a topic I thoroughly researched myself he used a source that I found questionable and I couldn’t find any other source to back up that

I read their book on it, it was an amazing story. They actually borrowed the atlas and other maps from the Auckland library for their trip, because they didn’t have any maps for the flight east.

I imagine they considered it close enough simply by getting back to the country of origin.

close enough

Yeah I have the same question and my suspicion is that it’s un-registerable in the US. I had a few Durangos of that era in my youth and always thought the Ramcharger was a cool version.

I don’t actually think there was a market for 2 door, full sized truck based SUVs.

It’s probably going to be listed. Its just that craigslist is barren compared to FB marketplace. Most of the entrys on craigslist was just the same buick listed 500 times with every single brand of car listed in the bottom. In my experience, FB Marketplace has more cars and better choices

Same. It’ll be a good time, if ever it happens.

Hope they an wrench.

David, David, we love you, but you have serious problems with your vehicle fleet. Here is a perfect example of the symptoms of your disease.
