I can see buying the Subaru. It goes well with the Matchbox model, which commemorates MBX/Hot Wheels designer Ryu Asada, who passed away earlier this year from cancer.

How are they making it $1000 cheaper than a Ruckus? More importantly, can I swap this engine into my Ruckus without extending the swingarm?

It’s for people who need to get around town on surface streets, and who have a $2,000 budget for something new.

I dropped a Subaru EJ20 Turbo in my ‘67. The radiator is up front with a scoop underneath. The hardest part was hiding everything so you couldn’t tell it the engine was swapped.

There are engines absolutely everywhere for these. And we have a nearby friend with all of the cool tools (ha) to make an engine install pretty quick.
