My one experience with Bike Bandit was shit, and that was before the company fell apart. I'm glad I swore them off when I did!

That is very handsome! The builder of this truck did a mighty fine job. It very much looks like something that could have come from the factory.
Yes! Sheryl’s commentary definitely enhanced the story!
I’m glad you were finally able to ditch that turkey!
I’ve actually never lost a 10mm socket. I lost a 5/16" socket once. Well, lost may be the wrong word, because I know where it is, but I’m not getting it back. It’s in a crack in my garage’s floor, by the back wall. Gone forever.
“I’ve had bolts that did this.
No surprise that it’s Napleton, they are some of the classically shadiest dealers around here. The last person I know who bought from them was my former sister-in-law. The “deal” they gave her was hilarious (she is a terrible human being, so karma is a bitch). The details have been lost to time for me, but I do…
I’m glad you’re just a worthless keyboard commando then, and not a judge.
So we should throw him in jail because he might have done other things he didn’t get caught doing?
No, it’s not ok. He got caught, and he should have. Let’s not pretend this is some grand heist scheme though. I think his sentence is appropriate. He’s paying the money back. That’s part of the sentence. Restitution to the injured party, AAA. He’s also paying a fine to the state. Probation, restitution, and a fine.…
He's paying the money back. That's part of the sentence. Restitution to the injured party, AAA. He's also paying a fine to the state. Probation, restitution, and a fine. Job done. No need to waste tax payer money putting him behind bars. That's stupid.
Do you think I’m a prosecutor or a cop or something? I teach middle school shop, and a sizable percentage of my students speak little to no English. So how about you stow your judgements against me? I’m not about throwing any minor criminal in prison. Its a waste of resources and a drain on society. We’re already…
It’s a fairly minor crime. If we throw every minor criminal in jail, it will cost us a fuckin’ fortune. We’re already incarcerating way too many people. I’d rather him pay the money back, pay a fine, and stay in business keeping people employed and paying taxes.
He did it to offload the cost from the customer onto AAA. Should he have done it? No. But let’s not pretend this was some scheme to get rich.
When the charges were issued, I figured this would be handled with lawyers and money, rather than jail time. I think this is an appropriate result.
RIP good sir :(
Skay, we’d love it if you joined us over at The Hyphen. We managed to move Oppo over to https://opposite-lock.com/
I ... I don’t even know what to say. I eagerly await what you two crazy kids have in store for us next. I’m assuming you’re doing something besides merch with Inflated & Plated?
Depreciation only matters, if you’re going to sell it. We all know you better than that. Buy it, pay it off, take good care of it, keep it forever. I’ve done plenty of dumb stuff, but buying a new truck in 2006 that I’m still DDing was probably the smartest vehicular purchase I’ve ever made.
It was in my head anyways.
