I don’t think so, for a couple of reasons. They’re planning to finally redo them in the next couple years, and if the crash happens ... that’s about the time it will might happen. Also, the major truck makers have each redone their trucks TWICE since Toyota last redid the Tundra and Sequoia.

I haven't installed the stuff in 15 years. Back then, as far as I knew, caulking every joint was the only way. Flashing seems like a way better system. I always thought all those caulk joints were a hinky way to do it.

The rake angle (I think that’s the right term, but I don’t have time to look it up right now) on the teeth are slightly different.  The idea is to keep the saw coming back at you, I think.
