Yeah, it was a rough one.  Watching the replay I posted, still makes me wince.

Now playing

Gosh. That’s hard to pick. This year will be the first 500 I’m missing since I was a pimple-faced 15-year old in 1997 (well, other than last year, obviously). I love the race so much. Watching Sam Hornish and a teenage Marco Andretti dice it up in 2006 was pretty incredible. As was the drafting battle between Ryan

Wow, that is a rare truck!  I dig it!

He is definitely one of the greatest of all time.  I’d like to see him get at least another Indy500 win and a couple of championships before he retires.  Not that he appears to be retiring soon.

Granted I’m coming to this a day late, but only a fool bets against Scott Dixon. As for the bumping, I’d love to see RC Enerson get in, but that car hasn’t even had close to the necessary speed yet. I’m actually hoping Will Power gets bumped, because it will have the least affect on his career and team. But the other

I was there today. It's basically two bump days now. It's a big deal to be locked in on day 1. It was plenty dramatic, but the track announcers didn't do a great job explaining why Keller was still in, and Power was out. We left confused.

The first qualifying run order is not first come, first served. That's set by a random draw. After everyone makes their first runs, then the two lanes open up on a first come, first served basis.

Something way bigger than what the average camper is dragging around, I bet.

I’m not talking about the kind of companies that are big enough to hire consultants. I’m talking the little guys. My dad was local contractor for 40 years. He topped out at 10 employees, and only owned one truck at a time.

I bet they'll end up doing an extended cab version. The money is in crew cabs, so for a while they'll all be crew cabs. Once production is in full swing though, I bet they'll expand the lineup. Ford is pretty good about doing that with the F-150. Heck, they're the only one to offer a regular cab short bed truck

This would be a badass truck for a local construction company. You wouldn’t need any insane range, but you have lots of power and room for tools.

Definitely Glickenhaus!

We have none of the chains you wrote about in the Midwest. Thorton's is a Midwestern chain that has been expanding big time lately, and I am a fan. The stations are nice, they pay a decent wage so the employees are friendly and helpful and don't turn over often. They have pretty damn good coffee and donuts too. I've

Yeah, Kwik-Trip is great when I journey up north of the Cheddar Curtain.

“ If you live anywhere near Pontiac, Illinois you’ll see one of the first ones. “

I'm sorry I missed the qualifying session yesterday. That is one bizarre starting order. Looking forward to the race this afternoon, should be a wild one. Congrats to Romain.

Be careless you two!

Lol!

I was wondering how the hell that sponsorship worked. Seemed hinky. Hinky-ness confirmed.
