That's why the GM vans, with their extended wheelbase, are far superior. They are much more stable when loaded.

I don’t really care about the subtleties of marker lamp design, but this ... This is a topic I have thoughts on. Young Shop-Teacher was just as obsessed with work trucks as middle aged fat Shop-Teacher is.

I was thinking the same thing. My truck is two years older with 24k more miles, and it is showing no signs of sickness or death.  Darn GM quality I guess.

So, when do you take delivery of it? ;)

I hope they can pull it off as well. I really like what they're planning to build.

I’ve owned two of them. They are great trucks. I really want an older squarebody S-10 to build into a rallycross vehicle.

I actually love the S-series truck platform, and everything that was built on it. They're sturdy little cockroaches.

For the most part, I’m a buy once, cry once kind of guy. The exceptions are tools I know I will only use once or twice. That said, that does not mean tool-truck tools for me. Because I am not wrenching everyday, older Craftsman/Kobalt to the job just fine. I recently bought a small Craftsman ratchet set from Lowe’s,

I love Andrew's adventure stories, but that one was my favorite.

We have lost a lot of good people here in recent times. This one is genuinely upsetting to me. Andrew was hired on not long after I started reading the site. Back when Truck Yeah didn’t have any kind of link. You had to type in truck yeah.jalopnik.com to see his stuff. I have enjoyed his adventure stories most of all.

I think it’s a nice styling upgrade.  I don’t care for the wheels, but those are easy enough to change.  I want to buy a bigger camper than a Ridgeline can tow, otherwise I would likely buy one for my next truck.

I agree they shouldn’t have stopped. That’s a good way to get killed. They should have notified the highway patrol immediately though, not when they returned to the dealer.

5? You're being generous!

Lol!

Came here for this. Leaving satisfied.

So in the end, it was technically correct ... the best kind of correct!

Yeah, my truck, which has been reliable as the day is long and transports my kids safely everyday ... would fail this inspection miserable.

I've rented these a few times, and they are indeed fabulous.

The capacity for humans to ignore problems when they know better, is rather incredible.

Nice pull!
