The divide here is between those who value their time, and those who don’t. I love DT, but he really needs to learn the value of his time. How much less traveling is he going to get to do, because he’s spent so much time trying to fix this van? I don’t know, but some.
LOL!
Wow. Admittedly the states that you and I live in David, allow some completely unsafe shit boxes to roam the streets. Kinja won’t let me load the picture of the more rust than truck S-10 that lives near me and is daily driven. It makes POStal look mint, and I say that having seen POStal in person and being in total…
Right there with you. My state doesn't require helmets either. A couple months ago four dude-bros on Harleys were behind me at a stop light making fun of me amongst themselves for wearing a helmet. They didn't know I could hear them, and I just pretended I didn't.
So far this school year (I am actually a shop teacher), I have ridden to school all but two or three days. I won’t ride if it’s going to rain on me in the morning, but if I might get wet on the way home, so what? I wised up and switched to a full face helmet last year, and it made a big difference in how cold of a day…
The ride height and beltline of modern trucks have both gotten ridiculously high. The sightlines are horrible, and how in the hell do you load a bed that is so high in the air? That’s why I’m keeping my GMT-800 as long as I can. It’s the proper size and height.
I say this as a lifelong GM truck fan, someone who has owned four of them, someone who has been DDing the Sierra I bought new 14 years ago and deeply loves it ... Holy hell has GM lost the plot of their truck styling. I was hoping they'd be better when I saw them in person, but they're worse. So much worse. What an…
I'm really happy for Shank. I hope they kick some ass!
I’ve got $5 that says Scotty will be driving a 4th Penske IndyCar next year.
I'm definitely pulling for them. They have a long uphill battle ahead.
I never thought I’d say this, but I think the current RAV 4 looks pretty good, and I would consider buying one.
Right there with you.
Right there with you.
Agreed on all counts.
Holy tongue-weight Batman! That car trailer is going to break some frames!

You know, big picture here, you could save yourself a lot of trouble if you valued your time more highly. I mean, $40 for CV joints vs. $80 for entirely new axles. That’s a no brainer, get the axles my man!
Sounds about right
Yep. The 800 pound gorilla is eating itself.
