Very much so.  It’s been really interesting to learn just how easily it is to be taught the wrong thing, even by people who have no intent to do so.

It’s interesting to see this comment dragged up from the past. If you read the rest of the comments in the chain, this is exactly where I learned that what I had been taught was wrong. We never read any source documents back then, we just followed along with a text book. They way history is taught, and society’s

Nope. I first learned about it two days ago, from an email my bank sent me telling me they were closing early in observance for it. I didn’t know what it actually was until just this morning. I’ll be 39 on Monday. While I’m from the north, I was raised in a quite liberal town. The only thing I remember from 5th grade,

Good luck!

This made my day.

Lol!

I would watch that for sure.

I'm pretty sure those are scooter tires. I can't wait to see more!

Thank you.

Thanks!

LOL, I feel you there!

I know it’s stupid. You know it’s stupid. David knows it’s stupid. Everybody knows its stupid. If you can’t laugh at the

I don’t agree with everything he does, but you’re kidding yourself if you think he’s in the top 50% of people who drive dangerous shitheaps.

Mkay

Fair point!

LOL!

That’s a huge bummer, but everyone who does any wrenching has been there on some level. I tend to get really down on myself, when it’s really not going well. It's amazing how that all goes away, as soon as something finally works!

Thank you for asking that, so I didn’t have to.

My best friend got basically this exact car, but in beige, as his first car. He was the oldest of our group of friends, and therefore the first with a license/car. We drove that crap-box all over hell and back. It couldn’t hit 80mph downhill with a tail win, but it was remarkably tough.
