I assume they were just trying to cover all bases and make sure that they covered any- and everything a woman could possibly do.

The thought of a world where "porno-clown" is volleyed as an insult makes me happy.

That gif is perfect.

Jesus, thank you. This shit is all over Pinterest, and all the 'After' photos make these women look like porno-clowns. Put. the. Fucking. Bronzer. Down.

Erin, no Welbutrin under 'Legal Drugs'?

Oh, I agree, there's latent (and not-so-latent) racism all over it.

Oh, it totally sucks when someone turns out to be not the person you thought you knew.

I have to disagree about sucking it up and enduring racism for an evening. Given the choice between asking someone you love to bear the indignity of racism, and the inconvenience of not having someone at your party, I would choose inconvenience every time.

I agree that it's way better to tell someone why their significant other is not invited than to leave them in the dark. That's equally rude, and passive-aggressive to boot.

Re: Question 3 - I don't know, IMHO, it's pretty rude to invite one half of a married couple and not the other half to a party that's not explicitely confined to a small subset of people (Girls' Nights, Junior Varsity Rugby Team Reunions, whatever.) Exactly. You don't have "whole" kids or "half" kids or any other kind of qualifier. You just have kids. They are yours. End of discussion.

This. Her use of that phrase makes me think that she was (perhaps subconsciously) okay with her husband abusing Matt, because he wasn't "hers."

Her "Whole" kids?!?

Oh God, number fucking 3. I have lost Facebook friends who I've known IRL for years because of a snarky status update about Taylor Swift. Of all people. (Did I mention we're all in our thirties?)

Thank you. I find the level of swoop-shaming that goes on here very problematic.

The fact that you are making a value judgment about swooping is incredibly emasculating.
