This. Car enthusiasts are the worst hypocrites. They whine constantly about how nobody makes manuals, but they largely buy Camrys and CR-Vs.  The mavericks who “live in the fast lane” actually drive CVT WRXs.

No one is buying new cars with manuals. We are great at mouthing off, but none of us actually vote with our wallets. I could have bought a brand new Cayman S with a manual, but I didn’t.

That kind of snarky attitude is no way to get Fancy Kristen to buy your company with loose change found in the cushions of one of her couches.

No one’s buying manual transmissions. Stop spreading this tired trope.

Truth. For every 100 enthusiaststhat say they’d buy a car, 30 of them can actually afford to. Of that group, 15 will actually be in the market for a new car in the next 2 years. Of that group, 12 will buy something else or decide to keep their current car. That leaves you with 3. You get a 3% return on internet…
