There are women who are making it now, so I don’t know what you’re trying to say.

So why don’t they just use this money to instead get women seats in the existing series?

Why doesn’t this group just sponsor some cars in the existing series with woman drivers?

Wouldn’t it make for sense for this group to use their money and connections and just get seats and cars for woman in the already established series?

I did a track day over the weekend, and at one point had a guy come up to me and go “Wow, you *can* actually drive.” He was legit surprised that I didn’t crash into a ball of fire.

Because one is trying to parade women around in their own little race for no reason and the other is letting women watch a movie on their own.

Because racing legit doesn’t need to be separated by gender.

By your own logic, woman have the advantage for a better power to weight ratio. There’s been a lot of F1 drivers who have talked about having to lose weight to make their team happier.

The driver can see the track ahead just fine; they don’t like being distracted by anything extra.

I’m guessing no one wanted to get their fingers pinched if the doors slammed back shut. Or went flying open.

I bought my house even with the tiny, barely room for my Colorado garage. There’s also a storage shed in the yard for stuff.

Two years ago Hinchcliffe was back at the end of September, he did the practice session at Road America.

The afternoon before the first track day of the season, everyone gets in to town early and then goes out for dinner. I left the track to head to the pizza place, and gave it a spirited romp up to the speed limit. This caused my front axle to break. I coasted down the hill and into the other gate for the track and

I’m probably in that part of NE that you consider to be Kansas. We have a road course, it’s not all bad!

A few years ago my parents came to a track day I did at Road America, a solid 11 hour drive for them. My mom will stomp her imaginary brake and make hissing noises when I drive in heavy traffic.

Doing it at a track day gets a black flag. If you want to just slid around and feel out a new car, go to a skid pad.

Some of the people commenting in here would take it seriously...

That’s not how it works either. Race control counts one infraction as one flag, no matter how many times you might see it on track displayed to get your attention.
