It flat out says it happened in three sessions, which means it was three separate flags.

Yup. A group called Gridlife holds an event at Road Atlanta.

Because track days are not for hooning. High performance is not drifting.

There are special drift events, that are not normal track days.

Please never be at a track day with me. If you think this is how an event should be run, I want to be far away.

A “triple black flag” is not a thing. He got three separate black flags for doing it multiple times.

He got three because he kept doing it; I’ve never heard of someone getting a “three flag” penalty.

There is no “triple black flag” that happens at once. He did dumb things three times and got three separate flags.

Once, maybe. But still expect a black flag. Doing it three times in one event? That’s purposely being reckless and expect to be punished accordingly.

A track day is not for drifting. Period. It’s not teaching the skills to do it, other drivers aren’t expecting it, and being the only one doing it makes you look sorta dumb.

The article about United enforcing a dress code of no leggings for certain passengers. There’s been others, but that’s the most recent one.

I know that myself and a few other woman posters all have issues with $kay and “her” COTD posts. The biggest one being that none of think she is a woman.

You could show me a group of six guys and I would struggle to pick out 3 to make up a Corvette Racing team. I care more about the teams than the drivers, at least most of the time. Jordan and Ricky Taylor and Ryan Eversley are about the only ones I could ID based on looks alone.

In five years I’ve had one guy be less than awesome towards me. Pretty good odds as far as I’m concerned.

It happens. I’ve been quizzed on the mods on my car, and then told to run race gas even though the car the set up for E85. Generally any guys under 50 are pretty cool, it’s the older guys that have problems.

Men at track days are far superior to the randos at race events, when it comes to treating women, at least is my experience.

I was driving alone, with a license, at 14.

I had a license and was driving alone at 14. I was sent out to mow the lawn once I was able to see over the hood of the tractor and keep the seat kill switch down.

Silly me going with the easy answer of LED on camera, since I’m fairly tired. Because I’m at the race. For real. In person.

They are LED and the TV cameras can’t capture them properly. They don’t flash in person.
