Electric power steering is incredibly hard to control if it stops working. Yeah, you can turn the wheel, but barely.

Not only that, these cars have electric power steering. It can be harder to steer than if a belt or fluid power steering system fails.

I'm camping for The Hawk this year... I am... Not a camper... but I'll make do.

Eh, even the SS models can get pretty good mileage on the highway if you keep it out of boost. 35 is not unheard of.

Probably. But unless you're eating it, it won't be much of a problem. Most of the pieces are set into the jewelry, it won't be in contact with your skin very much either.

On the street I'll park in gear and with the ebrake, but for a couple days after a track day, I'll only park it in gear since I'm still stuck in track mode. After a session, a pulled ebrake can very quickly equal ruined pads and rotors.

I've called a handful of dealers in Chicagoland to get the ignition recall done on my Cobalt, no one has parts yet... Some are saying two months yet before they get parts.

You realize the Cobalt is a completely different platform than the Cavalier, right? J-body and Delta...

Some of them have the same turbo engine out of the Cobalt SS... They are probably one of the ultimate sleepers if you don't know what to watch for.

I went to college in that area, on the Iowa side of things. I have friends still there who were posting storm damage, it wasn't pretty. It doesn't surprise me that everyone who is freaking out is from South Dakota, they had no idea that we existed.
