Track days. Car shows/meets by ourselves. ... maybe that's just me. See: Went to the 12 Hour at Sebring this year by myself.
Not only that, they've developed an anti-stall now too. My Sonic has it. If you let the clutch out and aren't giving it enough gas, it will kick some it to help. You can still stall it, but you really have to try.
I had to find a new dealer because the first one I went to could.not.understand I refused to get an automatic... They also couldn't understand I wanted the turbo version.
The creepy sugar egg dioramas aren't for eating though!
Well, I've done a fair number of track days and every one has required cameras to be hard mounted. They are a safety problem when either the passenger drops it out the window, or it gets loose in the cabin and stuck under a pedal.
I make 4 in this thread alone...
If they knew about it in 2005, that was the beginning of the production run for the Cobalt. Sure, they would have to recall the earlier cars (like the Ions) but there would have been many, many more cars built with the correct, safe parts to begin with.
Hiddles driving a Jag through London while reciting Richard II?
I live in 773, work in 312 (and have a 312 cell phone) and grocery shop in 847 so... Yeah. Maybe I'm just used to be confused all the time.
Meh, driving around Chicago lots of shops don't have the area code listed. Which is a problem because we actually have multiple ones.
Maybe it's because I grew up near the border of the area codes, but for the 22 years I lived there half of the state was 308, while I was still in 402.
Hey now, the SCCA Solo Nationals are in Lincoln every year...
That's been a recall for years now...
Check your battery and alternator. It seems the power steering like to be the first thing to get funky in these cars if the car isn't getting enough power.
I've gone around with people on here about this same issue. They don't get it, and just can't believe these little cars can be hard to turn without power steering. I know what you're talking about, believe me, I have a Cobalt that lost power steering a few times.
That's cool? I've driven my Cobalt without them before...
Yeah, no. They aren't designed to be steered without power steering, it can be very difficult to turn the wheel. You can, but it takes some effort, which if you aren't expecting it can put you in a bad situation before you know what's happening.
It doesn't lock, but it takes a *lot* of force to move it. I've experience it in my Cobalt, and it feels locked until you finally get it to turn.
