Little Black Coupe Turned Silver

I feel like I've been saying this in comments for what seems like forever now, and people are finally starting to agree with me.

To add to that, these cars have electric power steering, no fluid involved. I've had my power steering go out (due to a dying alternator) in my Cobalt, and it was incredibly hard to get the wheel to turn, even at speed.

There is a New Haven style pizza place in Chicago... It's my favorite.

Nope. Just put the clutch in and turned the car back on... No problems since. The car in in storage for winter still so I'm not really concerned about it.

View while unloading it in paddock.

Cobalts have electric power steering. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. I do know if you tried turning the wheel with the normal amount of effort it takes with the PS working, it wouldn't turn. You really had to give it some oompf.

The wheel feels like it's locked, you really have to overcome it to get it to turn. For a woman who has never driven a car without power steering, it was very difficult to turn, even at speed.

You still lose power steering, which can be very hard to steer without if you aren't expecting it to suddenly stop working. The wheel feels like it is locked, you really have to overcome it to get it turn.

Good to see the new Kinja works... Sigh. It's not worth typing that up again.

I don't get the Cobalt hate... The SS models are pretty decent cars, especially with some simple mods. Mine scoots around Road America just fine, I can pass cars who get fairly annoyed to see me zoom by.

Did you read the article? Dealers won't do a thing for you until you have the official recall letter, so this is what to do until those get sent out.

I was driving my Cobalt with only the car key, and it still turned off when my knee bumped the steering column. This really doesn't help anything...

Get one of the valet clips. You can keep all the house keys and whatnots together, and pull off the car key when needed.

I've had this happen at least twice to my Cobalt while driving. Both time I bumped my knee on the steering column.

My Cobalt SS came with these and they are so nice! I rode at an AutoX in a Cobalt with the stock leather seats and I was sliding all over. Not the case with the Recaros.

My friends have one of these and it's amazing!

"Blue cornflower" is the pattern name. My mom has the same set.

I can top that. Growing up my grocery store made their own ground ham salad in-house. Also beef and chicken too.

I've always loved these cars!
