I'm sure the core safety services (unlock, crash notification, stolen vehicle tracking, et cetera) will stay but if there was context for the statement he may have been able to not sound like a douche.

There's a lot of hate and anger among the commentariat here and I'd like to address some of it. I have some questions:

"If you're longing for a simpler, happier time that never really existed in the first place, try a Chevy."

Head-and-Taillights look awful Taurus...

It's just going to be Tanner Foust in the suit.

I've seen many of these cars in person — and not all of them at car shows (although I live right down the road from Lowes Motor Speedway so the car show traffic goes right by me) and I've seen the Panoz Roadster, Esperante, and a Qvale Mangusta in person but the one vehicle that I've only seen once (and my girlfriend

@aciddiver: It's like finding out after a drunken night that the larger sister is as pleasurable and insane as the smaller one?

@2JZGTE: Oh — those are fun. I almost bought an 83 Scrambler with the 6-cylinder/5speed (i think- it was high school)

@Mike Meserve: The diesel engine was actually made by Perkins — it was an industrial 2.2L 4 cylinder diesel and it was dangerously slow.

@smackela: My cousin had a 90 or 91 AWD tempo back in the early 90s. — She hated it and bought a Subaru Legacy Wagon instead. Surprisingly, she is married to a man.

@nibby68: There's one for sale for $3200 in the neighborhood across from me...

I worked for the On*Star call center for several years in many different roles - including training and management.

... if that's racing, then someone ought to tell them that it's not the fastest way around a corner....

Number 8 would be perfect for some of the men over at Jalopnik.

I'm 32 and find that I lack male friends. I have my drinking buddies who meet on Sunday afternoon to watch football, drink beer, grill meat, talk about food, sports, and other things. We're all in our late-20s to early 30s and unmarried. The statement "Men average one friend — wife or girlfriend," is pretty true.

@360glitch: Ecotec, Toyota 3S, Toyota 2zz, Subaru EJ20T racing engines all use stock block for 500+hp applications. Toyota 3S and Ecotec 2.0 are both used in FWD pro drag series to over 2000 hp and maintain stock blocks for a whole season or more.
