Reading the TMZ story is so odd to me as they seem to suggest that it was recently universal to ask for IDs and that has changed. Ids were not required for voting in the past (except in a few states)- this is a NEW voter suppression tactic which people who believe in actual democracy are trying to dismantle.

Voter fraud isn’t currently a thing, but let’s not pretend it can’t happen.

No, but look how useful it is to talk about- you get to feed paranoia and cynicism, deflect blame for a spectacular loss, and effectively prevent the conversation about voter suppression - which IS a thing - from happening.

As White Sox fan I just shrug and chalk it up to being ignored being part of our identity. Better this than having to do deal with a bunch of bandwagon jumpers.

He’s only an arsonist and a car thief, don’t be so hard on the guy.

I envision her doing balls to the wall sex parties like Elizabeth I. She just sits back and orchestrates things...

Counterpoint:

Jerry Richardson would be a pleasant southern gentleman to share a drink with and listen to old-timey NFL stories. That is, until you get to drink No. 3 and he starts opining on the role of “the jews” in society.

Where I come from, the venn diagram for “dad music” and “fraternity music” is just one circle and inside it is written “Dave Matthews.”

oo yes. Two of my favorites:

This isn’t exactly the same thing, but a group of friends created a fictional “80s Sax Solo Day” (August 23rd) and I set to creating a roundup of songs that fit. I don’t know why I did it via a Pinterest board, but I did, and for some reason right now they are having server problems so I can’t link it.

I have one of these too! It’s called “Saxxy”
