I quit way back in Diablo II when I got griefed right out of the first camp six times in a row by the same damn player. Now I only play online with people I know. No more random matchups or massively multiplayer games for me.
this is why I tend to only play with people I know. at lest on my team, I could care less what the other team has to say about me, if there being ass hole’s its normally because there getting stomped
It really depends on the game and the game type. The toxicity is much more common in adversarial (PvP) online gaming. In my experience, it’s really rare if you play co-op (PvE) online.
It doesn’t affect me as bad as it was use to. It is also a lot better that it once was (except for very vocal few ones).
I mean, its a constant bummer, but this is why I live in drag when I’m forced to interact with other humans in online gaming (male names, male characters). And never, ever, EVER use voice chat. EVER.
god men are so sensitive
I mean yeah, there’s the KKK and they suck. But hey, you guys have the Harlem Children’s Zone!

You know, with a few tweaks, that could’ve been a perfectly serviceable sci-fi action movie. Their first mistake was trying to make/keep any connection to The Most Boring Board (Norm Macdonald would say “Bored”) Game Of All Time.
