I approve of this ... because I'm a part of it. Even if I wasn't I would approve regardless because Im a part of it.

For those of you interested in how Gone Home approaches its subject matter, by highlighting the use of highlighters! Also, spoilers, of course. And highlighters. http://tay.kotaku.com/how-gone-home-…

I have been singing the praises of that intro sequence for the longest time. When '(Don't Fear) The Reaper' starts playing — holy shit. I still get goosebumps

Now playing

Yeah, I actually wasn't overly fond of Dance of Death. I didn't think it fit well with the rest of the music, either. Don't necessarily get a spy music vibe from it though — hard to describe what it would fit into. The most obvious answer is: not this game.

Well, after they catered Mass Effect 3 to people completely new to the Mass Effect series, I should hope they won't take comments like Stygian's to heart. I mean, if they were more concerned about keeping each successive game in the trilogy lore-friendly, and make Mass Effect 2 actually matter, then they should

In regards to just communication improving teamwork, I believe it really depends on what game is being played. In Titanfall I've always seen it being played as every person for themselves, and only really teaming up when they have more than one Titan out on the field.

Looks like another tale of someone holding a 'leadership' position whom lacks the maturity, mental capacity, and capability to do so. Classic.

I will simply agree on one portion of your update, that there does need to be discussion about the gray areas of consent, however I disagree that Max must assume the responsibility of doing so. I also disagree about you never implying he shouldn't defend himself.

So, the players aren't hunting down minorities, just people whom they want to kill — Muslims, people who attend furry conventions, Canadians. All that information was available to the player when they opened up the Profiler. Thus, wouldn't it be apropos to state that instead of players targeting minorities, they are

I lost what, now? You, a random Internet person, saying I lost all credibility for using the term 'white knight' therefore meaning I lost. So what did I lose? Did I lose dessert? A game? We're we having an argument or debate?

That's right, I forgot I was supposed to appease everyone on the Internet.

And you'll be right there, leading the white-knight charge, and throwing around what apparently must be the deadliest weapon on the internet: Kotaku power.

You don't seem to get it Lozzle. These are problems in the industry that need to be looked at, but not with objectivity, as objectivity leads to conversation, and a conversation is not something we should have in situations like these. Layoffs are usually full of finger-pointing — who did what, why didn't they do
