I was fine with this considering inflation until I saw the deluxe edition price of Forspoken. $95? Are they out of their minds?

I can't help but think if this is meant to hide the real title from kids it's just going to be a Streisand Effect.

You had me at “Chrono Cross thing,” and it’s just some mobile cross over thing? Argh!

We need better legal fair use protections, but with the media associations having governments in their pocket I know that will never happen sadly.

This seems like an answer looking for a question. It doesn’t hurt to confirm, but this was never likely.  Then again, maybe I'm naive.  I'm just glad Nintendo games aren't banished to hand held devices anymore.

I’m concerned about the multi-pronged war on the single payment license and streaming is a huge weapon for that. Already some sites talk as if people only use music subscriptions (likely as part of paid endorsements for subscription services) and Amazon is obnoxiously in your face to nag about it when buying music.  I

All the worker exploitation aside, I’m in awe about the useless warranty thing. It’s blatant scum tactics to sell people warranties for optical discs.  It's such a shame this is the end stage of Babbage's.

The whole thing is tragic, but why the heck didn’t they hire auditors, who would identify areas of potential risk due to lack of segregation of duties? I understand why it’s a requirement for non-profits here in the USA. She never should have been able to do it.

They are exploitative even if they aren't fraud.

Thier entire model of business is predatory.  Gacha games are pretty bad too.  I'm torn on them since some niche ones likely couldn't exist without being gacha games, but there should be limits to protect people.  Blowing hundreds or thousands on something that isn't even real is awful.

People who are followed by the blog are never grey. Anything they star or reply to gets un-greyed. So it’s true it’s best to report and move on when a truly bigoted or trollish thing is posted. It’s not a popularity contest in that it’s the staff’s discretion who is followed by the blog.

It’s obnoxious. Literally having to click to show replies or show more replies to see them at all, then combine that with the “show pending” nonsense followed by still more outrageous “show more” prompts, which then hide all the pending replies yet again... It’s just plain broken. Literally at least five clicks to

Even at launch it reviewed decently for people that didn’t have the worst issues. Obviously after a bunch of fixes that increased further. You don’t need an imaginary army of fanboys for that. Failing to meet the sky high promises is far from being a bad game.

Nah they weren’t that big at that point in time. A two slot toaster is pretty accurate. They were like this:

I felt bad laughing out loud in real life and then reading there were injuries.  At least they weren’t serious though.  I never had a desire to see these parades, but seeing the sheer size of those floats has me intrigued.  I’m not traveling to another state to see them, but interesting.  I never considered they could

I still like the site, but it’s kind of amazing how bloated it is. My phone, the not very old Motorola Edge, chugs insanely while commenting sometimes. I’ll have to wait 10-15 seconds for a word I swiped out to appear, or sometimes things will appear into the text box weird and scrambled out of order. I may be jumping

Not just negative, downright mean and malicious and dehumanizing at times. It’s sad. I try to steer clear of those articles but they’re really nasty sometimes. It’s like the awful Twitter mob mentality where everyone is either an angel or downright evil and anyone who disagrees in any way on any topic is lumped in

I agree antivax stupidity is stupid but I think it’s a bit much to say they dodged a bullet. There’s a big difference between being unvaccinated in a recording booth vs. acting in front of a camera with other people.

I always wrote it off as just another gacha game but maybe I’ll try it some day if the story is that good.

I absolutely love that it’s made by an unapologetically furry developer that makes primarily mainstream games. They even run a Japanese furry magazine.
