Yep lizards count. Furry is slang for anthropomorphic animals and their fans. Aliens that aren’t human faced are sometimes lumped in too.

Indeed, though it’s not always done that way. The Charr in Guild Wars 2 are a good example of that taken even further by not having large breasts. The designer gave them two options for females: six human-like breasts or two that aren’t prominent. They went with the latter.

It’s insanely tone deaf that's for sure.

In my opinion worrying about “looking” professional like that is both petty and on its own supremely unprofessional as well. I’m not defending this guy mind you, but going after his name is extremely silly. It’s like gatekeeping professional positions expecting people to “look” professional by buying pointlessly

Yeah clearly the best way to help the people in the company this is about is to make sure they don’t have work. At that point it’s not really about caring about the abused workers at all anymore.

The below criticism is solely about the “they ALL should resign” nonsense. I’m not defending how incredibly stupid they continue to go about this.

As someone who only casually streams now and then I literally thought Streamlabs OBS was just a less lightweight version of OBS.  I had no idea there is no affiliation.  I'd say the name change is long overdue.

You can acknowledge the horrible things someone has done without behaving like a “bad person” yourself. Behaving like a bad person is still behaving like a bad person no matter who you are talking about, period. You don’t get a blank check to behave poorly all because your target has done bad things. That’s like

What does that have to do with anything they said? People have no obligation to bathe in hatred as some on the internet like to do these days, as if it’s somehow virtuous. It’s an awful situation all around. People can be sad at his passing while in no way excusing his deplorable actions. Maybe you should read what

I think people are seeing a negative connotation where none was intended.  I can understand why people misread it that way though.

I think people are misreading it. See your quote there is incomplete and even on your end is unintentionally misleading as well. It leaves out the about his treatment of her and their children.”  Personally because of the rest of the sentence, it did not read to me like it was trying to paint her negatively.  Doubly

On the same token, just because someone else behaved horribly isn’t an excuse for oneself to, ever.  I’m not at all saying she behaved badly at all though.

There’s no need to defend anyone. What’s important to note is immaturity or cruelty are never excusable, period, end of story. It’s a very sad story, that’s for sure, but not an excuse for people to excuse their own embrace of malicious self-righteousness. The only difference between a bully and a self-righteous

One person’s pettiness (or behavior at all for that matter) isn’t an excuse for another’s. It’s sad all around, regardless.

The worst is I think many of them *actually don’t think* they are being bigoted.  It's sad.

Some of us actually realize sites like this don’t run for free. I find universal ad blockers morally disgusting. If they target only intrusive ads my opinion isn't as strong.

I think special circumstances like that are quite different. 62k a year is huge for most here I would think.

Smaller businesses, especially restaurants, are often barely afloat.  In order to break the cycle of exploitation, aka "tips," people need to get used to paying a lot more for restaurant food.

That’s a tough one (and oof I’m watching Buffy for the first time though I may have had that vague spoiler in the past). It’s tough in that they can’t have special immunity either. At least representation is getting more common so not every death will invoke that trope soon, hopefully.

The entire contractor loophole needs to be closed. That’s not many words but that’s what it is: a loophole to exploit.
