I think Advent Children is what cemented ‘angsty’ Cloud to the fandom. Granted, he actually had a reason to be that way at that point in time thanks to events that occurred between the last half of the original game and everything leading up to the movie.

If they were exactly the same, as you claim, the two models would perfectly overlap. They don’t. In many instances, they’re not even close.

Its a game series fundamentally about hanging out with people and bonding with them, arbitrarily excluding characters from that does not make any sense.

I mean, if the game didn’t want to center you it wouldn’t make you the protagonist who can wield any persona. But it did. So. Not really sure what you are arguing…

It’s weird how P3 didn’t have social links for the male cast, when your very first social link is The Magician, a guy.

I wouldn’t say the story is “rotten to the core.” That would imply that it’s off putting or sickening in some sense.

Instead it’s flat, flavourless and bland.

Man I haven’t thought about Hexen for years. That really takes me back to the era where we’d rent just about every N64 game that came out because there were so few of them. 

I’m pretty sure Bethesda/MS own those IPs now so the chances seem pretty decent. I wouldn’t be surprised if id was working on a new Heretic/Hexen game.

Didn’t Warner JUST recently make a ton of older material unavailable online? So the ONLY way you get to see some older shows and movies is via DVD or BluRay.
