To me, his proposed design seems like he wants them to look like Rayman Origins and play like Guacamelee. While the game will probably be fun, I'm not sure I would call it a Sonic game.

If yer playing Torchlight 2 on PC (I'm not sure it was released on anything else) be sure to check out the modding community. So many really great ones that expand the game with tons of characters and end-game stuff.
If the soundtrack to your game were a sentient being, what would it look like?
Hm. I doubt my job would work directly with the website as I get the impression that this website was done by a 3rd party. And I should clarify that some of errors are pretty pedantic (the company is an initialism that is capitalized in some places but not others, for example) but others look like an edit was made and…
Oh, and a question in general: for this phone interview, I read most of the employer's website and can safely say there's quite a few typos and other grammatical errors. I've looked up whether or not to comment on this fact and advice seems divided. I won't bring it up in a phone call since this will be rather short,…
A busy weekend indeed! My sister-in-law is getting a c-section probably at this very moment, I have a phone interview later today, and then I'm going up to Boston for a friend's birthday. This means that games will likely be limited to the variety that include drinking such as Drenga (Jenga with actions and rules on…
The blizzard is indeed balltown but you can summon a horde of NPCs. The boss there isn't exactly easy, either. As for the blue smelter, you can poison him just like the other smelter, and you can just use high magic resist armor and shields if needed. But I agree that the area before is insane. I really hated how…
That multiverse episode in particular could have easily just been the list of references it appeared to be, but in true Space Dandy form, it got really, really weird and went a completely different direction. I'm not sure if I like that one or the Chameleonian better.
In DS1, the Zweihander, halberd, claymore are all strong, popular weapons for a quality (str + dex as main stats rather than dipping into a magic) build. Longsword is pretty good but if you want to do straight swords with dex, I would recommend the Baldur Side Sword. All the katanas are good and popular as well.
the quick and dirty etiquette rules: bowing back to an invader is like a soft agreement that you'll do a 1v1 no healing battle but really any non-aggressive move is usually fine. It's not perfect but that's the idea. I think the bare courtesy is to just toggle block on and off with your shield to show you are awake…
Oh but there are patterns! It's just that DS is pretty much a full single player game with a full street-fighter-esque fighting game packed in. You have to learn all the weapon types just like you'd have to learn all the characters in a fighter. But yeah, I frequently have a rather elevated heart rate after a close…
2112 must've been the bees knees. But I woulda wanted The Necromancer.
Already exists. It's called Lily (and is really cool).
Hmm, wall chicken/ pot roast from Castlevania SOTN is a strong contender. I would think second place would have to go to Excalibur or Save the Queen in Final Fantasy Tactics - I will call them usable items because you can duplicate them through a glitch and then have your guys just chuck precious, legendary swords at…
1: true
2: Not as important as new purple gear starts at enough light to get to 32, without needing any armor upgrades. Yay!
3: Also true, but crucible now drops 2x as many marks per match and has a pretty high chance to give purple guns after the round. Some games 3 or 4 people will get one.
True, but all new purple armor makes you 32, and the new purple exotics have enough light to push you towards 34. So you would very quickly skip over the range of 24-28 with just 2 purple items, which you can pretty easily get from a variety of sources these days.
I… don't like open world games in general, I guess. I'm a bit more extroverted than introverted and I get really bored playing single-player games a lot of the time, regardless of their quality. I really need to have at least some multiplayer aspect in order to consider buying a game these days and most open world…
I believe the best, only answer to not knowing what to do in FFXI is Moblin Maze Mongers. Level a PUP or BST and get in there!
Yeah, if the game lets you, you should totally skip the 1st expansion. The way House of Wolves works makes it so that pretty much everything in that expansion is obsolete. All the special, exotic armor and guns were pretty bad, too, so you're not really missing much. HoW is much better.
I want to give you a 7-year-too-late upvote for that Fresh Prince intro. Also, that whole thread was made worthwhile by "The Amazing Race" alone. It's got that playing-the-absolute-perfect-card-at-the-absolute-perfect-time feeling that Cards Against Humanity sometimes generates.
