I mean, I think all you'd need to do is look up the band members' names to know to steer clear.

I'll check this off as the (pedantic) thing I learned today.

Yeah, for normal upgrades it's an XP system. You get a little XP for just killing enemies, some from doing missions you haven't done before, some from bounties, some from the weeklies, some from crucible and so on. So your guns use the same XP as your character to level up separately. In end game, once you have a lot

Hah, yeah magic is surprisingly fun and cool in that game, but super hard to use. Also, in case you haven't played before, some weapons, especially elemental ones, have a special attack you can use by doing either a 270 degree to 0 degree sweep (down to down-right to right) and the attack button, the reverse of that,

Uhhh, they're a lot harder? That's about it. Bungie has some strange complex where they want to be your babysitter and so stuff that might be too hard for pug isn't even accessible to a pug. They're basically saying they trust their average player so little they don't even want to run the risk of them getting harder

Yeah, which is why I kind of set me color around my exotic. And you upgrade pre-HoW purples with etheric light and exotics with more shards. So, you can go back and use your very first purple armor piece or weapon now at 365 attack or 42 light if you had a light and used it. It's a good design choice and makes those

Well, there's an attempt to do that with the etheric light. I'm not sure exactly what drops them outside of lvl 34 and 35 prison, but getting them would allow any player with at least a purple in each slot to hit max level. It's a nice system that works well, and it means I can finally make my titan look cool and

Playing the Destiny DLC, House of Wolves. The new end-game stuff is actually pretty fun and challenging in a not awful way. 3 person teams is a lot more manageable and tactical than 6 and Bungie seems to have taken the hint and cut out a lot of the level-grinding on gear (new, non-exotic gear no longer has damage or

Shield Rod and Alucard's shield I think, yeah. But there are plenty of other over-powered weapons to use! Like the Muramasa which can have max damage with a lot of grinding. Or the Crissagrim which can mow down every enemy you see (double the fun with 2!)

Gotta go fast. I came back quite a bit later since I don't really like the blue covenant, but I know you can just run right up to his feet if you're fast enough. When I came back, I put on the Gyrm Greatshield and 2handed it as I sprinted at him, since it has 100% fire reduction. Once you get there, it fights like a

    But but but more mega-evolutions!

What weapon do you like to use in SotN? There're so many that it can be hard to choose, I know.

    *Baller Swag Sword you mean

You can get some kind of OP players that make it a lot easier for a while. And Tidus eventually gets really, really OP shots that just win. I did the grinding and kind of enjoyed it, but that was a long time ago and I didn't have as many games fighting for a limited allotment of playtime.

Hm, see I rather liked all the things you are pointing out, except perhaps the fragrant branch spamming (I prefer to open exploration style, not more gates). The dragon makes sense to be outside of fights with both a dragon rider and a dragon slayer, so no gripes there. The pursuers are pretty neat because they give a

I very much expected an old school rhymed lyric based on how this started: "I play on Vita and I have to say, the bite-sized gameplay is here to stay!"

I'm pretty sure it's a fruit roll up wrapper around an extendable car antenna.

I guess my issue is that it is one of very few areas in the game that actively encourages arrows. Between that section and the sections with the powder keg skellies, it presents situations where the easiest and best solution is one I don't find very fun, namely shoot arrows from near perfect safety. Going by

Ah, there are plenty of yuppies that aren't assholes - just work for them. I was granted the great fortune to stumble ass-backwards into the general area of NYC finance so I've dealt with my share of real, REAL, asshole yuppies. One job listing I saw had a line in it similar to "Must be able to work with difficult

Yeah, I did the DLCs backwards so now I'm excited to go try Sunken. New weapons, hurray!
