Yeah I love the happy place. I’m really enjoying This Looks terrible! Especially since the comments there remind me of the old a.v. club.

Dang kinja. Didnt see your response until now, a month later. It’s not really a bodice ripper, if that’s what you’re asking. I listened to it a while ago, but I recall it mostly having a darker tone with some good, hard sci-fi. The main lady for much of the book is a take no shit, strong, bisexual, Brazilian immigrant…
Yeah you nailed it. History of violence reminds me of the kind if thoughtful, Nabin type articles that used to be all over here years ago. They are clearly crafts of love even when (or especially when, in Nabin’s case) the subject is generally overlooked or reviled.
Jon’s Twitter is also pretty good
Very late, but did you happen to read Luna: New Moon? Wolf moon came out this year.
In my experience, there’s quite a bit of politicking even in star, though I’ve always played it as a format for commander. It gets especially interesting when your “ally” keeps killing your creatures to ensure you can’t win before they do. We had to change the name of the people to your right and left to “not enemies”.
If you have not listened to the audio books, they are entirely worth it just for this guy. I listen to quite a few audio books and he was by far the best narrator I’ve ever heard. I’m sad he’s gone.
There was definitely some light level shenanigans though, like how if they were a light level higher shoulder charge was no longer fatal. I agree though. It’s just fancy crucible now.
I remember a gil farmer basically invited me to static with him for a while. I was leveling my PUP and looking for a party in yuhtunga when this dude randomly invites me to a party in yhoator. All we did was kill the bee pets of much higher level goblin beastmasters. I believe the guy was controlling set least 4…
The only time I can remember going to delkfutt was when all the good quifim camps were taken. I don’t remember even going to upper tower, let alone going after that NM though I guess I would have had to in order to complete 3-3
Good luck pubbing those g’s. I would say that learning the combat is less important than learning when to fight. If your goal is to get tons of kills, then sure, drop in the middle of the military base and see what damage you can do. However, if you wanna win, I would try something like my rules of engagement:
Hah I very much appreciate the offer but I’m actually up in buffalo, which is a little bit of a drive over to Watkins Glen. Have fun out there!
3 things:
If you like the battle royale style, I think player unknowns's battleground is the go to right now. Also 100 in a match, run around trying to survive while looting. Can play solo, duos, or a full 4 man team. It's really good.
And I want YOU to know that I logged in just so I could agree with you.
I could easily see her doing guest vocals on a progressive or power metal album. Come to think of it, I'm surprised she's not a guest vocalist on some long forgotten Ayreon album or something
I came here to make this exact reference :(
You made me log in just to say that the back half of outer isolation (tetrastructural minds on) is better than terminal redux. But I'll be dammed if I don't get pillars of sand stuck in my head at work. Long live modern thrash.
I get a fair number of kills from the gas mainly because I try to throw it into active battles so guys with 30 HP left just die. The more gas you throw, the more kills you get. Hotbox the planet!
Battlefield 1. My friends and I have developed a highly competitive strategy of all getting drunk and hopping in a heavy tank. Naturally it's called the drunk tank.
