I actually admire the interior restraint. And the fact that seat belts are provided for every seating position.

I have been pretty fortunate so far in my 3 years of ownership and most of my repairs and replacements have been proactive instead of reactive aside from the replacement of the Tstat and O2 sensors. The previous owner used it as a daily driver but took fairly good care of it, replacing the things that were needed

While the mantra of “never finance, pay cash” is often preached, it ignores the concept of leveraging debt to your favor. For example, if you purchase a $20,000 car, is it better to pay $20,000 in cash or finance for 0% while that $20,000 sits in the bank collecting 2% interest? I would argue the second option is bette

Go price out a new Honda Pilot TrailSport AWD. On a 5 year loan at 5.0% and 10% down payment, you’re already at $847/mo. If you want a large SUV that’s a step up from a Honda, you could easily hit the $1k mark.

I know a few. usually buying large tricked out trucks that serve no purpose beyond ferry them to walmart and for a place to keep their truck nuts hanging loose.

this seems so innocuous, I’d lean towards it just being kinja going haywire. the writers would probably try and dunk on you before they just removed a comment.

The kid turned 16. She saved up some coin and paid for half of a Ghia project. Got it road worthy and spent some time in a large parking lot teaching her stick. She’s about an hour away from feeling confident to take it on the road. So yeah, a pretty good highlight.

This weekend I filled up my car with $2.549 gas.

6-6' for the current owner is way above the 95th Percentile as stated by the chart who should know better when buying cars that fit.

Musk’s shenanigans are knee-capping Tesla’s financial options, aren’t they?

The rental option is absolutely the best answer in this case. $60,000 could get you years of vacation-vehicle rentals, without tying up $60,000.

The MDX is the correct answer. The Jeep is a fucking Jeep and it’ll die in the most unexpected/inconvenient time and place. Same goes with the Range Rover. The BMW is four-years old. I’d be taking a good long look at the warranty and starting to figure in the cost of some expensive maintenance.

Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

Hey Jalopnik! More articles like this.

I think you were doing your trip wrong. You should have spent 90% of your energy on the trip itself - scenery, food, entertainment, and etc. Then loosely focus the remaining 10% on those cars.

Every now and then you see a great body redesign and think, “Why they hell didn’t they do this in the first place?”

This MF, I adored this car.

The proportions are not good at all. It almost looks like they pieced to totally differently proportioned bodies onto one. The front is to narrow, low and squatty and the rear is hulking and super wide and tall. I know it’s kind of always been like that but this seems more obvious and off.

I use radio for all my little trips or if I just grow board of whatever I planned. Most of my non-work trips are short, so I don’t bother getting my phone connected and picking sometime. On longer trips, sometimes that podcast or playlist isn’t cutting it, so I’ll swap to radio and see what I find. My favorite radio

My wife’s base model 2018 Equinox is the worst car I’ve ever had the displeasure of driving. The first two gears in the six speed auto actually feel dangerous pulling out into traffic. There’s just no way of accurately predicting how much it will accelerate or how long it will take to respond to input. I can’t wait to
