Perhaps not that obscure, and perhaps technically a car (4 wheels?) but the Dodge Tomahawk V10 motorcycle thing.

Charger insurance in Florida is going to suuuuck. Most likely to be stolen after Kia/Hyundai.
From another article on the topic: “Many reports have been quick to point out that Rivian lost $32,595 on each vehicle it made in Q2, but this is still a 50% improvement from Q1’s loss per vehicle of $67,329.” “In Q3 2022 it was over $139,277 per vehicle”
20k for a new car is too expensive?
Why are we taking anything the WSJ says seriously? Murdoch gonna Murdoch
They offer commercial vans, and sell every one they make.
Sure if its your only car I agree. However, if you live in a house/condo/townhouse with even a 110V plug, a Bolt EUV for 20k after rebates is an excellent choice for what most people need.
The “big bolt recall” hasn’t affected any new models for 2 years now. Its a good car.
It definitely woke up with some breathability mods. I owned one, modded it a bit. I liked it, but I never LOVED it. I don’t have much love for 4cyl turbos, they have no soul.
I get what he’s saying, phones don’t have access to vehicle level data that will enable a more seamless experience. However, with the “projection” model of AA and Carplay, there is zero learning curve. You know how to use it right off the bat. That, and the fact that phones actually update, something that GM can’t…
This was the answer I was hoping for. And the ONE time they didnt suggest it.
Thank you!!! I think its a solid car overall, but the steering wheel (what I see when I am behind the wheel when I drive) looks like its from a 1997 avalon. Absolutely a deal breaker for me.
Best deal in EVs (and cars in general) in a LONG time.
Why the Leaf? Its ANCIENT technology. Bolt is better in literally every way, including price.
It’s hard for me to get excited about a 1.5L Turbo. I realize its probably a good motor, but I don’t like the way tiny displacement engines feel.
All german dealers have used vacuum pumps for years. Its fine as long as you are doing regular oil changes.
Not with the new tax credits.
Its very regional. In IL with our nuclear plants we pay $0.05 in the winter and $0.08 in the summer. Its a huge range from state to state.
Depends where you live I guess, or if you have solar. My parents in CA have solar, but would otherwise pay $0.38/kwh. Here in IL, we pay $0.05/kwh. Which is about $1.45/100 mi
Agreed. Here in Illinois, my Bolt EUV is juiced up on Nuclear power at $0.05/kwh flat. Thats about $1.45/100 miles. On top of that, between state and fed rebates I will only pay $18,000 come tax time next year.
