Get the Mazda. It’s fast, reasonably fun, will fit the family, and invisible to police. Most fun of all, it will not break.
Isn’t the S-class basically a peak into features that become standard 10-20 years later? It’s that or the Rivian lineup as they currently sit, just selling trucks & SUVs.
bruh.... your tinfoil is showing.
IDK if I’m alone on this, but I would like EV cars to look like regular cars. Why does an EV need to look ~different~?
Living in China seems like it really sucks so I’m not sure that’s an aspirational lifestyle.
Firstly. This should have happened 10 years ago.
Ukraine being invaded has entered the chat.
Something that would help would be an expansion of rooftop-solar. Buddy of mine who retired recently has a Rav-4 Prime and rooftop solar. Tells me his last power bill was $17 and the last time he put gas in his car was back in June when he went on a long road trip (that exceeded the car’s 35 mile electric only range).…
Which is exactly why they, Mazda and a few other car companies havent completely abandoned development of ice powered vehicles. We’ll know very soon if mammoth companies like GM, VW and others made the right decision betting their futures on having all EV lineups within the next few years. Sure the UK/EU ban on sales…
Comrade: Germany is doing that due to the Sanctions they imposed on your glorious mother Russia after Putin decided to remake the USSR for him to be dictator of.
Isn’t the estimate that, on its own, California would be the 5th wealthiest country in the world? Pretty far from the third world status. It’s a modern state with modern problems.
Currently ethanol production requires about 90% of the energy it contains to be used in processing it. This is one reason you don’t see ethanol “farmers” operating their plows and harvesters on a closed cycle with the ethanol they produce.
Progress is made by dragging people kicking and screaming across the threshold.
Just you wait until they tell people w/ ICE cars that they can’t drive during hot days due to worsening emissions during hot weather after 2035. I’m sure you’ll be fuming.
I also work in the power industry here in San Diego. The grid is fine, we will need more transmission to be built for more renewables and batteries, but California’s electric sector planning, particularly the resource adequacy program has lagged behind the renewable build out since 2015 that many gas resources were…
lol. you clearly have no idea what third-world really is. I’ve seen third world, and cali aint it... by all definitions, California is by far one of the most developed states in the nation, and will continue to be that way. take any example, income standards, economy, infrastructure, state funding surplus, and HDI...
Maybe bi-directional charge would help.
Sorry but “Newsweek” has never been a creditable source. And trust me, as an EV owner most of us in CA don’t charge between 4 and 9 anyway.
