I used to work at Tesla in the early days, and would moonlight for sales on the weekend doing test drives and evaluating trade-ins. One Day a Russian lady came into the dealer with her used model s and wanted to trade it in for a new one. It was odd to us because she had only bought it six months ago.

I usually don’t like Toyota styling, but I like this one. The steering wheel looks like its from 2002, and I could never own one due to that alone. Also, too darn expensive though for what it is.

93-97 Ford Probe GT. Mazda platform, 2.5L V6 and a hatch. People hate on it because the funny name and because it was supposed to usurp the mustang, but it looked good and was great to thrash.

I’m happy to see the rest of the populace turn on Musk, and eventually make Tesla patently uncool.

Well in that case, we might as well just give up because there is no point in even trying to have a fair playing field. /s

Gotcha. Thanks for the follow up and conversation.

If you wait until Jan 1st, you can get a $4000 tax credit for used EVs, so that will help.

They weren’t building these at their factory, Honda service was fixing them. British Leyland built them and they are notoriously bad at doing just about anything.,

Insert Lucas electronics joke here

A: Its a big splash and makes local officials and the Governor look good

What about the 30 year “renaissance zones”? like the one Gotion is looking into in Big Bend, MI?

If I remember correctly, Texas Chapter 313 is what you alluding to. That program had a PER JOB subsidy of over $350,000 because it was so blatantly open to fraud.

I didn’t see the double negative there. My mistake.

Its the Honda Crossroad aka Land Rover Discovery.

The Guilia and Stelvio ARE NOT unattractive, or bad to drive. They just suffer from a tiny dealer network and good ole Italian reliability. I think the tonale looks great and is priced right, but I still wouldn’t buy a Stellantis product.

4th gear - I work in the industry (business attraction) on the municipal side. Its a race to the bottom unfortunately. States like Michigan are throwing these companies 30 year tax abatements (pay no property taxes) in order to lure huge battery factories with thousands of employees to little town that will never be

First Nissan I would consider in at least ten years. I like what they did with the interior a lot. I think it compares well with similarly priced EV suvs like the ID.4 and Ioniq, especially if Nissan is able to qualify for any tax credits next year.

Tom is right. Maserati all day. Beautiful

If an Ioniq 5 is an SUV, so is this. And the best value by a large percentage.

I feel like MOST rentals just go from airports to downtown hotels and back. Not all of course, but for those well within range of a single charge, this should be good. Also for Hertz, better resale, lower cost of operating.
