I was in the Sun-Ring and my son was like, “Hoodos, Dad.” Yep. Was totally Bryce canyon. Maps are purchased and I’m starting to track them down. Yeah, these are cool. 

Yeah I picked up the golden fast travel thing. I very rarely fast traveled - there was just so much to see.

Yep. Just got home and purchased them and now my map is full and busy with things to run around and collect later tonight. I wanted to turn it off and go jogging with the boy and the dog but just one more hunt... My god this game is addicting.

I don’t know - it looks fine to me, I just started - I guess I finished the first mission where I’m made a Pathfinder and then I kind of fell asleep and woke up either on my ship or the Nexus. Not sure. I stopped then and called it a night. HZD kept me up late these past few nights. But I never fell asleep playing…

Yeah, I fired up Mass Effect and my son came out of his room. “Wait, this isn’t Aloy and the dinosaurs? I’m going back to bed.” We’ll revisit the game again - my son loves climbing the Tallnecks.

I played this entire game (60+ hours) and never once came across a Vantage. Something to revist it seems since I started ME:A last night and really wanted to return to Aloy and her world

Yeah I noticed this grove of trees last night that once I entered this nice fog moved in and the light was wonderful through the trees. Ran out of the grove and the fog was gone. Ran back in and there it was again. I still really really really love this game.

The story suffers from long periods of go-here-do-that and then every 10 or so hours you get a big info dump that expands the mystery but I’m not playing for the story. God I love this game. And I’m only like 30-40 hours in and have barely scratched the story I am told. My son and I just love stalking dinosaurs and wandering around. I haven’t loved a game this much since Red Dead Redemption. Mass Effect is going to be sitting on a shelf for some time. 

Slowly making my through Horizon Zero Dawn. Love it.

Came here to post this. One of the best hours of TV ever made.
