PSA: This has a number of game breaking bugs on the Switch Port 6 months later. Like my mage being unable to cast spells. Or unable to equip/unequip armor. Do not buy for the Switch.

My son’s school had a side where all the classroom windows faced an open street with apartments facing it. All I could think of is that someone posted up in their apartment could easily shoot into 10 or 12 classrooms from their living room window. I applied for a grant with Home Depot to get fruit trees donated to the

For GE West (Disneyland) they release some day of, so the day you are in the park, 7AM, hit the app and make a reservation. I went on a whim and made my reservation on the bus from the parking lot to the front of Disneyland and had my pick of times to select from. I imagine GE East is the same.

I went with my son to GE West (Disneyland) and was wearing a subtle Star Wars shirt - it’s a polo with Jabba the Hutt instead of a little Izod alligator. Anyway, we were accosted by a First Order officer and he asked if we were with the Resistance. I explained no, I was here to represent the Hutt trading consortium

And before this was the Warlords Series (same developer, same world) the greatest TBS games I ever played. I’d sell a kidney for a re-release of Warlords 3: DLR. Good memories with those games.

My son and I love playing 2 - it’s the only shooter I let him play and we have a blast on the co-op modes. But on the TV there’s Control, Gears 5, Red Dead (I know, I’m slow) and then on the Switch Xenoblade 2, Divinity Original Sin, Dragon Quest XI... too many games, not enough time... this will be a pass for now.

Man, I’ve been craving a new Warlords game, or at least Warlords III with some quality of life updates for a tablet. Wondering if Age of Wonders will come to the Switch seems like a perfect game for on the go.

I can relate. Every few months I’ll get a group text. “Division 2" the last one said. It’s always a text - these boys don’t call. That’s code to go pick up a game, because that’s the next game my group of friends are playing.

My wife asked me why I don’t go out with the boys anymore. Well, a few of the boys moved

We’re totally in love with the Orville Peck album at casa de Zmirzlina.

Some of my favorite gaming experiences have been in Horde Mode on GOW with randoms. Everyone is playing in silence the first 20 rounds, falling into their individual rhythm and roles. And then people start falling and picking each other up. Finally you hear a “thanks man” or an “appreciate the pickup” after an hour or

Oh wow, we love playing this on board game night. Very surprising game - my wife picked it up and I was not excited. Then I played it and it is one of my favorites. I’m going to need to try this on my phone...

This is the one where I need to kill the dog?

This looks like it would be good on the Switch. Looking for a kid first person dungeon crawler for the Switch which has become my go-to system due to parenthood and a busy lifestyle.

That explains my turret problem last night as well. Sorry squadmates.

I was uninvited from a nephew’s bar-mitzvah for claiming Israel is an apartheid state during a recent family gathering. Look, I can love Israel, the country of my religion, but I also need to call it when I believe basic human rights are being violated by said country. Sticking to my principals here and I will drown

Same boat. I actually like playing it in small 1 hour batches. I usually start with the goal of completing 1 mission in my playtime. I’m not always successful as many nights I’ll just fish, or hunt, or go on some either diversion. But I liken it to reading a book one chapter at a time instead of devouring the whole

Came here to post this, was not disappointed. Had a chance to see a strandbeest exhibit in San Francisco. They’re amazing.

I once worked in an office that was 99% Japanese with a Japanese boss. The worst was “be at work before the boss, and do not leave before the boss.” Problem was his marriage was falling apart so he was at work at 6 AM or so and would stay super late at night. I honestly thought some nights he would sleep there. I have

The Weezer usage is from the opera Madama Butterfly, whose character is BF Pinkerton, a US Army officer in Japan.
