Couldn’t agree more. The ND just doesn’t do it for me. I thought it might grow on me, but it just hasn’t.

It’s not just a 996 though. It’s a 996 GT3 (rare) RS (beyond rare in the US since they were never imported here). RS cars of any year are extremely desirable. This one is no exception. He’ll find a buyer at 350k I’d be willing to bet.
This one doesn’t either. These are the facelifted headlights.
Truth. When I bought my 911 (2007 base Carrera) all the 70k truck guys acted like I was some sort of baller. I had to explain to them that my car cost me less than half of what theirs did. They still didn’t get it I think, but whatever. :)
Having driven in Boston numerous times, I can confirm this statement.
Ahh yes the GW. Been in some nice jams on the Cross Bronx Expressway before in the snow. And basically all weather. Lol.
Because too many people... lol
Yup
Ohio I believe.
Mine too. I learned to drive in one. I also did an insane burnout in one, though not on purpose. Lol. That’s a story for another day.
Take your star for the 3 Amigos reference!
I haven’t driven a 718, but I’ve driven 981's and they’re a hoot. Even the base model was a blast to drive. And in regard to the 718 engine/exhaust note, I was in Porsche of Orlando’s showroom 2 weeks ago when they changed out the inventory in it. So got to hear basically every car in the lineup and honestly the…
If you’re thinking 911, you won’t be disappointed. Mine never ceases to put a smile on my face. It’s a manual and I drive it everyday through crappy Orlando area traffic. Don’t care, it’s awesome. :)
It’s not just you.
I mean honestly. Have you ever driven a 996? :)
FYI, you can get a V12 in the S65 and SL65.
I see what you did there. And I like it. Take your star.
Not babies. But 6-10 year olds fit back there nicely. You aren’t going to put a baby in a 911 because there’s no way you’re getting a car seat to fit back there. As an active member of rennlist, I can say that I very frequently read about guys putting their kids in the back of the 911. It’s not the main selling…
Loved those cars as vert’s. That and the E46 look like they were designed to be convertibles, which isn’t always the case with most cars.
Bummer about what happened to the E36, but that E46 is the bees knees. BMW got everything right with that car in my eyes.
