Are you sure about the trim?  Bc E46 M3’s have blacked out trim not polished (I owned 2). And I know for fact on newer BMW’s the sport packages get you blacked out trim.  

I only owned E46 M3’s, but I always loved the interiors.  Spartan yes, but so functional.  Everything in its proper place.  I always thought of it as simplistic and elegant.  

Local used car lot here in my hometown has a black E63 wagon of this vintage. Not sure what they are asking.  Cosmo Motors if you are interested, Hickory NC.
