Huh, I actually didn’t realize the 924 hung around that long. I thought they dropped it when they brought out the 944. I learned something today...

I am in agreement here, everyone should retire at the age of 40.
Daimler and FCA’s handling of the 300 depresses me to no end. It was quite possibly the most interesting American car to come out of the “Merger of Equals” AKA the rape and pillage of Chrysler, and I dare say, the entirety of the 2000-2010 US Market. I know that it sits on an Archaic Mercedes platform, and that sedans…
My commute is a shade under 30k a year. The car might be worth the asking price, but I think it’s beyond hideous with that front end. The overall proportions are nice but I couldn’t live with that butter face. CP

Peter Piper picked a previously-owned Porsche Panamera.
Previous E46 M3 owner here. I had fun with the car while I had it. I’d never buy another one.

Exactly. Every Land Rover Jalopnik discussion is full of lackwits who have never been within 50 yards of one [Insert Relevant Car Make/Model] yet think they know all about them.
If you can’t afford a new Range Rover, you definitely can’t afford a used one.
You can’t comp this to any other 1999 Boxster. The real comp is a 2000-2003 Boxster S. Considering the $1k (each) intake, exhaust and coilovers this thing is a bargain (as long as it is in good condition) and the dual row IMS is just the cherry on top. I would buy it and swap the wheels to 996 Turbo twist or 996.1…
CP on this. Since it has the 5 speed, it started life as a non S. No way you’d spend the extra on an S, then swap Trans for a lesser one.
Cayman to say the same thing.
On a semi-related side note, how low does your self-esteem have to be to be insulted by a poorly written Craig’s List ad? It’s at worse an eye-roller.
I keep Starion at that price and I don't think that anyone would actually pay anywhere near that.
I had an ‘89 Escort GT and if memory serves, the same kinds of plastics and bits were in the Taurus as well. My ‘88 Starion has way better interior bits. I mean the SHO was really cool at the time, but the Taurus hasn’t aged very well, even though they are the cop cars in RoboCop.
Hi everyone, I’m the owner/seller/restorer of this fine machine. I’ve reduced the price and added links to the restoration and review. I’ve been restoring cars back to factory condition for nearly two decades now...not a flipper, but someone who greatly enjoys rescuing and restoring these 80s and 90s machines to road-w…
