No, you are not narrowminded. Bathrooms are segregated by sex for a reason. I pull my pants down in the bathroom and I don’t want men in there with me.

I don’t want me in the womens’ bathroom. I would not feel safe.

Fuck the “respectful” clients, they’re still coming from a place of feeling entitlement to womens’ bodies. Someone called it “self care” a few posts up, wtf? Women seem to get along just fucking fine without needing to purchase access to vulnerable mens’ bodies. Why are we giving men a pat on the back just because

Is there anyone else who finds that using NOTHING works best for their skin? I can’t be the only one. Every time I have ever used a face wash it always makes me break out.

“Some Indian tribes would simply call her “two-spirits” and leave it at that.”

“You don’t hear about interns at porn studio working “for college credit””

“but most of it is only considered degrading because of people like memorykid9”

It ‘can’ be? It almost always is. There are a tiny handful of well-meaning producers, but by and large, porn is made by men, for men, so of course it’s inherently degrading. It ‘aint mens bodies that are being literally categorized (‘big tits,’ ‘ebony,’ ‘mature,’ ‘teen’... ugh) and sold. It’s sad how third wavers are

“but most of it is only considered degrading because of people like memorykid9”

“Huh, I agree that Caitlin was born in the wrong body so I have no idea what you are talking about. I believe at birth she was a woman.”

It is apparent that you will deem any woman who dares criticize the appropriation of womanhood by some men as ‘transphobic.’

““Gender” as an academic or metric term from measuring or grouping people is absolutely constructed, but your sex when you are born is not. And unfortunately because of years of sexist social constructs, sex as a biological trait is combined with said social constructs to create a gender identity. And I think for some

“But when members of the trans community says that it’s offensive to be compared to Rachel Dolezal, I tend to listen.”

Change the words in your paragraph and you’ve got Caitlyn Jenner:

“How long must a transgendered person have been living “as” that gender in order to be able to claim that they’ve lived that “experience?””

I completely agree. I’m just asking why we don’t extend this analysis to the appropriation of womanhood by men. A man might be able to sympathize and empathize, but how would he have any idea what it’s really like being a woman?

I completely agree. What I don’t understand is why people refuse to apply this perfectly logical analysis to the appropriation of womanhood by men.

“but the key here is that she can never, ever know what its like to be a black woman in this country”
