First thing this video makes me wonder is: why don’t more Russian cops play Need for Speed? I mean, where were the head-on ‘pit maneuvers’ in swat cars?

our prime minister is buying a blue nissan micra for 1495 pounds and 50 quid

According to Bing, Anchorage sunrise is 4:48am, and sunset is 11:05pm. I could not live with less than 7 hours of darkness. And Anchorage is pretty far South, in Alaskan terms.

This is proof that I must be doing something wrong with my life. How come I’m not flying a single prop surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas?

A couple of points:

Lets see, 874 miles in 6 hours... that’s an average of roughly 145MPH. Something doesn’t quite add up.

Currently 2 green, a red, a beige, and a white farm truck, which I’m trying to trade for a two-tone red & white truck.

Something I noticed the other day; I’ve owned more green cars than any other color. And I don’t even like green that much; I’d rather have dark grey or murdered out.

Neither do I, but man I’m jealous! Two days of driving here, and all you’ve seen is rolling farmland in one direction, or desert and a mountain range in the other. I’d love to visit Europe some day.

Hmm, I need to visit MN again; only been there once (drove through the corner on my way to WI.) Although that definitely puts it into perspective!

Wait, seriously? I commute 3.5 hours to work. I had no idea traversing GB (the long way!) was such a speedy endeavor. Maps (without context) are so deceiving.

I wasn’t aware of that, I’ll have to look them up. Thanks!

I’m incredulous that any car bragged about 17.6 mpg — even an Olds.

Wow, what car?

I remember that! My dad was an editor at the newspaper at the time, and told me about it. We got a good chuckle over how someone could repeatedly dial a foreign area code for a local place without thinking twice.

Cool, I’m in Torrington part of the time (I travel a lot), but I’d love to try to get something set up. Heck, I wouldn’t mind driving to Denver if there was just a group who was willing to host an event. They say ‘take it to the track’, but what can you do when there is no track?

aw man, too far. I’m trying to find guys in the Casper/Cheyenne area for some Rallycross.

Offtopic, but what part of WY?

Since he’s undoubtedly going to be found guilty of a felony that could basically be described as ‘breaking the law to force someone to have sex with him’, what assurance do we have that he didn’t pull her over with that intent all along? She very well may not have been speeding at all; the cop will have lost all his

Ummmmm that video had nothing to do with it. It was just a video of someone riding a hoverboard — the way it was originally meant to be ridden. I’d like to see a video of the hover cart (?) in action, though. Especially with a trailer in tow, as that last picture seems to imply.
