LOL!

Wow. This is something that could actually make me want to watch sports. Now we just need all of the sports to incorporate animals in humane ways like this.

We’re talking about 2 people in a Jeep. Hardly an invasion force.

Have you ever ridden one? They’re kinda terrifying. Sure, they are less likely to fall over without a cause (i.e. at a stoplight), but hitting a corner fast is much more dangerous on a trike, because you can’t lean the weight of the bike into it.

Gas Guzzlers Extreme starts out with teir 1 choices of a Reliant Robin Defiant Regale and a Fiat 500. Totally unrealistic handling, though (actually, that whole game is a little too over-the-top)

I definitely agree on Mitsu. Suzuki, not so much; the Geo actually was made by Suzuki, however the Suzi vehicles in general were very good. I currently own one. Their departure from the US was a real pity; I wish we could get the Jimny here. That said, their later cars were pretty meh, so I guess I see your point.

I have to agree, except to say that while Hyundai clearly doesn’t have the reputation Geo had, it’s the closest modern equivalent. I have yet to meet (in person) anyone who has bragged about their Hyundai for any reason other than fuel economy or sporty feel, both of which Geo claimed. And hey, I’m not judging — my DD

While it’s true that Hyundai has improved, the point made by the OP was that all cars improve with time. What modern brand (sold in the USA) can you point to and say “Obviously, Hyundai is better than that”? none of the car companies are especially bad right now, which means you have to compare what other ancillary

2006 Elantra. 2.0L Engine, 2500 lbs. front test of ‘Good’, side & rear of ‘Poor’.

Granted, the automotive demographic here is very different from most — there are still a lot of Geos running around, as well as most other cheap things, especially Hyundais — but the upscale models aren’t sold here at all. I’ve seen more Teslas than I’ve seen Genesis. And yeah, I’m very attentive to the cars around

Now playing

I would agree that Hyundae has played catch-up pretty well, and I have heard nothing bad about their reliability in recent years (or, actually, in quite a while) — but that doesn’t change their stigma.

While there’s no question that a modern Hyundai is immeasurably better than a Geo (heck, a bicycle is safer than a Geo), by today’s standards, the Hyundais I’ve driven have felt like the modern equivalent. And yes, I’ve driven both (my parents even owned a 4-door Metro for a while), and I stand by my statement. There

A 2006 Hyundai is likely still safer than a 2011 Smart or Spark.

I like his taste in cars!

I’m glad to see that all 3 women in the car made it out safely. I hope the guy and the toddler did, too.

Hahaha, the town has about 8k occupants, so that’s part of it. Plus it’s in Wyoming, which is going through a recession, thanks to the oil crisis and new federal restrictions on coal mines. The market here is definitely a buyers market, no matter what town you pick. Gillette is a great choice, if you can get over how

Hey, I never said I wanted to trade. Although it would be nice if I could sell my house for that much! I have a house that’s been on the market for two and a half years, that just got its first written offer. For $32k. Decent little house on a large lot, fully remodeled a few years ago.

Wow. Here in the middle of nowhere 1,000 miles from the Ocean, lobster is about $15/lb on sale. More like $25 normally.

Wow, that was just painful to watch.
