Oh man. It just occurred to me that the Kia logo is in all-caps, hence it's an acrostic. I think the military term "K.I.A." is pretty well-known — I'm surprised they've not switched to that new logo. Think the 'Chevy Nova' legend (even though it wasn't true.)

Easily the most beautiful truck body style of all time.

That definitely looks like a muffin-top trunk line. Solara and 1st-gen Yaris are the only 2 coupes that come to mind with that look.

While appropriate in this case, that headline was disturbingly clickbait-ey. But yeah, awesome car. It's like Lincoln was predicting the odd affection allocated for the CTS Wagon. Except their future-scope saw another popular wagon today, and they tried to mix in a little too much Prius.

Me too, but I guess I was born 20 years too late. They're getting kinda hard to come by these days.

Hey, the guy's got dedication to his theme. Which I find a lot more impressive than the random doodles that are so popular.

y'know... they really weren't terrible looking cars. In fact, dare I say, they were rather handsome in an 80's-early-90's kinda way. Especially in white.

To be fair, the first guy has all the letters run together. The 'T' is just sharing a vertical line with the 'R'.
The last one, though: Who let Buster Bluth take his shirt off?

I came here to say just that. It's something I've seen ricers do to their cars to make them look 'classic Japanese'.

I'm actually surprised pt's aren't chopped up more. They're cheap, hideous so there's no guilt in cutting them up, and they already handle pretty poorly, so you couldn't really make it any worse. Plus, on paper, they're classed as a 'panel truck', so they're practically begging for it!

That is so much win on so many levels. I especially like how they painted it to match the body color.

Whichever option you choose, leave the porta-john in the bed. Lots of cars have been engine swapped, fewer have been converted to trucks... but very few cars have an aftermarket outhouse installed in the back. It would make the car the talk of every car show!

Ooh man... I love Coopers, especially the JCW editions (not so much the rest of the mini lineup), but the new front end is really a travesty. When I look at it, all I can see is:

Back when I looked into monstering a Miata, I was told strut tower braces and performance shocks were basically a requirement.

I had a '93 Civic with 150k that I bought needing a tranny, clutch, and a LOT of odds & ends. After replacing all of that, about 10 months later, the engine starting burning oil like crazy. I know, it was probably abused by some teenager.... but even a mistreated car shouldn't fall apart like that one did. I

I'm a Ford guy myself, but I love this paintjob.

Same here, been in the gray for ages. But maybe that's because there are already too many comments on most posts, so keeping most in the gray keeps the numbers down so that this doesn't look like a Slashdot page.

This deserves COTD.

A small, RWD ford? How about they bring back the Pinto.
