I like it when Jalopnik writers pretend to have positive opinions about anything GM related. It's like when you see kids pretending they're playing pro baseball.

Jalopnik “car guys” - forgets about car companies that were around 9 years ago.

For the fans of Formula 1 racing, when one car overtakes another car it’s called a pass and it is legal in NASCAR. It’s actually encouraged.

They used a 1984, or 85 Corvette for a myth back in their early days. Where was the Jalopnik anger at that? Oh, that’s right, American car.

I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt with 153 thousand something miles on it. I haven’t had any issues with it. The only things changed have been the spark plugs and the shocks/struts/springs. i still drive it about 20 miles one way to work a couple times a week. Most of my family own GM vehicles, my Dad and two uncles are

Isn’t this more a commercial for lift kits?

So comically overdone and gaudy. These very same trucks would be ridiculed to no end if they were in the U.S. but because they’re in Japan they’re the ultimate in style.

There was a time when football players would wear shirts a few sizes too small just to not give the other team anything to grab on with, now they give them handles.

I’m a few years away from needing to buy a new car but when I’m in the market I’m really considering a Bolt or a Volt. I like that the Volt has more range because of the gas engine but it’s hard to beat the coolness of a full electric car. My only question about the article, which has nothing to do with the Bolt, why

Sorry for such a non Jalopnik choice but I’ve loved Corvettes since before I can remember. Since I was born in the 70's I have always had a fondness for the C3.

Don’t forget any children she may have in the future. Those children will not be able to get jobs 30 or 40 years in the future because of this article.

Be careful about admitting to liking American cars on Jalopnik. That’s a definite no go on this site.

I just don’t get the reason it didn’t sell because they didn’t advertise it. A true car guy doesn’t need to see a commercial during their stories to feel the need to buy a rear wheel drive car with a V8 and a manual trans. The Kia is cheaper but it’s a V6 and no manual option. Plus, in my opinion The SS is much better

Right away I’m white so you take that for how ever you feel like you should take it but not for one second did I even care what color skin these people had. This poor lady lost her three kids and her husband along with other members of her family. How does someone even process that much pain at once? How does she go

It makes as much sense for trump supporters to complain about this as it does for trump haters to kick someone out because of their hat or job. But, to be fair, politically-minded people aren’t very bright to begin with. You have to be fairly stupid to care about politicians so much.

Does anyone wash their cars by hand anymore? Sure, it takes longer than a five minute automatic wash but it brings you in touch with your car. I’ll only go through an automatic wash in the winter, after my garden hose is packed way for the winter.

I’ve always loved Oldsmobiles. My Grandpa had a brand new 1984 Delta 88 when I was a kid. My Dad had a 1985 Cutlass Supreme that I ended up with when I went to college in 1990. After a few years I bought a used 1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic, with T-tops. I had that car for about 10 years until it was stolen and

I was a fan of these cars when they came out and I still am. I still remember pulling next to a black one at a redlight and thinking how nice it looked. To be fair I’m a horrible Jalopnik reader, I prefer American cars, especially GM.

It was funny because it was so stupid, not because it was high brow comedy like Samantha Bee. There was a time when it was OK to laugh at stuff that wasn’t exactly politically correct.

Apparently he doesn’t own a tape measure, either.
