I know it sounds strange, but Body by Victoria fits really well for me. Simple — I bought black ones and nude ones.

It all made me laugh. I didn’t really feel ashamed as much as “omg, that’s such a funny way of relating. I wonder where it came from.”
So, strange thing. Until I watched that sketch, I had no self awareness.
I can imagine! Our weather is rather ‘flat’ — it never gets really hot or cold. It’s like endless autumn/spring. I rather like it, to be honest! :)
what took you to Sydney? We just love NZ and got work here!
Yup. In New Zealand — did nothing and no one noticed. I am wondering why my kid isn’t back form school, though. I told him to come right back. Where is he?
It’s winter, it’s not 4th of July here, and I worked today. BUT, I also got a massage and I’m eating some cookies. So, it works out. :D
they are mostly in activities (scheduled) and at home, they’re on iPads and stuff, from what I can tell.
No, it’s not the standard anymore that I can see. Most kids have to put their laundry in the laundry basket and possibly put clean clothes away. Maybe put their dish in the kitchen. THat’s about the extent of it.
I have no idea. I mostly get told “But kids are only kids once!” And I’m like “yeah, so a good time to teach them how to live in the world and take care of themselves.” But, I’m the odd ball.
It certainly isn’t a magical panacea. My family had dinners together growing up, and from the time I was about 10 or so, we also had breakfasts together which is interesting.
Same, though we did instruct my son somewhat. There are finer points of dining that he was able tp pick up on at this age (2.5 yo). Now that he’s nearly 9, he’s one of the few kids that you can take to fine dining without any issues — including his capacity to eat truly experimental stuff (he had peanut butter and…
we started table manners with our son at age 2, and he could join us at fine dining establishments at age 3/4. We would book a table near the kitchen, at the end of lunch service (half hour before the kitchen closed, as per recommendation of the kitchen), and we would prep our son before going (we expect Best…
We have one child and this is our deal.
I live abroad and I agree. I do hold my head up for being an american — but it’s only because locals are like “you’re country . . . I’m so sorry.” They’re really nice about it.
Here’s the real irony about your statement: a Trump supporter (they still exist) — do not and would not believe you.
I find that it does get better as they sleep more — so assuming yours continues to sleep more, the better it gets. I’m still tired, but not the bone, zombiefied tired that I was for the first year and a bit.
Yes, these are most definite first-world problems. :)
I think that’s true if you live in Europe, I’m not sure about everywhere else. We’re in New Zealand — it’s pretty pricey to go anywhere, but travel is a big part f the national identity here, too. Families will up and leave and go to asia for 4 months, then come back. It’s normal to go around the islands here, the…
The thing with your mom is your mom’s to deal with, though.
