Didn't people stop listening to Ani DiFranco after they graduated from college?

I've heard good things about the Feldman bio, and this may be the push that gets me to read it. Totally worth it?

I've been wanting to read that one for a while. I read an interview with him when it came out and it sounded like it would be very interesting to read things from his POV.

Of course. There is NOTHING I don't remember about that show. I was obsessed with Kate Moennig and my online searches for her are what got me into the internet at large. And fandom. Ah, fandom.

I like her quite a lot, but I did give a little shudder that Ancient Aliens is her favorite tv show. I mean, *I* love that show, in an ironic, "it's so bad it's good" way, but I side eye anyone taking it seriously.

God, I loved Young Americans. Spectacularly awful, but it introduced us to Ian Somerhalder and Kate Moennig, among others.

No, but the headline here isn't about my lack of sexual shame. And if I was engaging in limo blowjobs or "rapey" sex with my partner, you'd better believe I'd talk to him about it. Doing something but then being embarrassed to talk about it sounds like shame to me.

So it's only shame if it involves the general public and total strangers, and not her family or husband?

I was so embarrassed after I recorded the song because I'm just talking shit. And I'm like, "I can't play this for my husband." I still haven't played it for my mom. She's going to be very mad at me.

OTOH, he's a great argument for castration.

The sad thing is that's probably not even hyperbole.

Drinking to impress people is one of the stupider things ever.

So lady butlers are basically getting paid handsomely for the work that other women are expected to do in their own homes for free?

Yes, OH YES. Col. Brandon as played as Rickman is my ultimate fictional dream man.

And ever and ever, amen.

Word. LEGGINGS AREN'T PANTS.

I dunno, it's still funds coming out of your bank account that you will have to dispute (and the bank will have to "investigate") before you get the $$ back. With a credit card, the money is just credit from Amex or Visa or whatever. If they want to take their time investigating what happened, it's not money out of

I never use my debit card to pay for anything, just credit cards. I feel like I have more recourse with the credit card companies and they are always willing to reverse charges without any hassle. This recently happened to me with Amex—they called me to alert me of suspicious activity and confirmed that it wasn't me

A perfect match. Tacky-tacky.

Living in a different region with different cultural norms = running with a different crowd. Don't be a judgmental dick.
