Ham is an unbelievable driver, for sure, but it’s not down to his skill alone. Verstappen, Ricciardo, and Vettel, at least are all similarly talented, but can’t consistently beat Ham because Mercedes’ car is easily the best in the field.

I would think it would be better for budgets and the environment to just make the cups a little thicker, but what do I know?
