I understand all that. I was just sharing my experience as a caution against assuming you can watch on NBCSN just because you subscribe to a major cable provider.

I think you’re probably right. My only point was that the only way it could be even remotely safe is if everyone was required to have winter tires. People drive poorly enough in the snow, the added slip of all-seasons on icy/snowy roads would be a disaster.

I believe you also have to have NBCSN on your subscription, though. I have Comcast, but not NBCSN, and last time I tried it wouldn’t let me stream. So I only get to watch races aired on normal NBC, which, I believe, are Canada, Mexico, US, Brazil, and Monaco. Basically, the races not run at 2am EST.

If we mandated winter tires in snow belt states, that would work, but otherwise it would be mass chaos if they quit using salt.

Is $12K supposed to be a lot to spend on a car? That seems like a bargain for an M car.

1st: This is why tariffs don’t work. At least not indiscriminate tariffs against all imports from a specific country. And especially against one in which nearly all our goods are manufactured. Has Trump considered the consequences of this to the people he thinks he’s trying to help? When the cost of goods skyrockets…
