The issue isn’t with the cutscenes themselves, which are kind of cute, but that they are unskippable. This means they are a pain if you’re trying to have lots of people join.

That’s tricky, though. “Do not feed the trolls” can be the wrong thing to do, especially with certain groups and beliefs, because it allows “trolls” to freely propagate racism, sexism, etc.
I enjoy seeing updates of the earlier internet memes.
For Days Gone I’d recommend the Kotaku article with gameplay tips. When I started the game I ended up spending more time than necessary doing things that could have waited til later when they would be faster/easier to do.
What were your thoughts about the ending of Far Cry 5?
I might continue playing Saints Row 4 tonight with my friend (like I usually do). However, I’m one of the lucky few that will be getting FF7 Remake today (my wife ordered a physical copy months ago so I couldn’t just buy a digital copy and download in advance). I’ll try to play it as much as possible this weekend,…
How so? Explain your reasoning.
I agree that ‘need’ can be used in many ways. I was making a similar argument, and that he was interpreting the use of ‘need’ incorrectly. My understanding is that he was assigning a specific desire for attention to the use of ‘need’, which I disagree with. I gave the job example because I interpret her use of ‘need’…
I don’t agree with that interpretation. I believe you’re seeing her actions as a desire for validation, when based on her own words and actions they are more likely to do with entrepreneurship. She makes a living as a streamer, and as with basically all creative jobs these days she needs to advertise herself in…
I like these kinds of articles, if only because it’s a chance for me to hear about interesting things I might have missed, or learn more than I realized. The internet is so vast (and now so old) that I’m bound to have missed things that will interest me.
Yeah, ibell’s argument collapses if you apply to almost anything. For instance, Hollywood. Sure, most famous actresses are attractive. But they are a tiny fraction of the many attractive women that go to Hollywood to become famous but fail. There are so many other factors involved with becoming famous, and they can be…
I’m not sure what’s unfortunate about it. If it’s her job, and she keeps a schedule for her posts/work, then it makes sense. It’s like me saying “Today I need to drive to a building and sit at a desk”. It only seems weird when taken out of context.
MGS2 was the first game I played in the series and I quite enjoyed it, mainly because it was all over the place story-wise, especially with the multiple plot twists. My only real complaints were with a few of the controls. A friend of mine was in the “hated it” camp, and I can now kind of see why. That said, my main…
That makes sense. Thanks.
if you haven’t played it at all, the ending will be incomprehensible
The overall reviews here seem to be “pretty good but won’t last long”. Maybe the devs should do what Fortnite did in that situation, and pivot to a battle royale mode? :P
Weirdly, back when I first got a Gameboy the only games I had initially were Link’s Awakening and Mortal Kombat. Now I’m curious if playing the Link’s Awakening remake will make me want to play the newer Mortal Kombat games.
I’ll continue playing Saints Row 4 with my friend, and also Death Stranding & Secret of Mana on my own.
My sad takeaway from this is that Trump will only believe things he sees on TV.
I guess we’re about to find out how many jerks are also too lazy to use the various workarounds. Then again, there’s also the matter of whether they notice their comments are invisible:
