I was curious what they did to setup the game as a coin operated machine, but from looking at the press release it appears all their games are set to “free to play” for those who have paid to play. That certainly explains a lot, especially the fact that they have so many games that wouldn’t normally lend themselves to

I suppose you could have edited your post to switch it out for some other game, such as one of the DK games, though Mario Bros. probably has the strongest connection to the Smash Bros. games.

If I remember correctly I think I only ever beat the first level, and was never able to beat either of the levels available after that. I’m still not sure if the fault was my own or just the game having a very steep learning curve. I vaguely recall that Maken X a few other DC games (such as Soul Fighter) had a bit of

I’m curious what your thoughts are about Maken X (assuming you’re far enough to beat it). I remember it being a very frustrating game.

I’ll probably continue with Axiom Verge and Days Gone. Both have been dragging a bit, which is unfortunate, though I’ve recently gotten over some annoying parts in both so that may not be a problem now. For instance, in Verge I thought I was missing something and trying to get into an area that shouldn’t yet be

That’s true.  I seem to recall that several of the most expensive NES titles are only at that level due to rarity despite being notably bad games.

Wow, that Super Saiyan Mr. Satan is new to me. I’ll have to look up where that occurred, if only because it was probably hilarious.

That price seems weirdly high for such a bad game. That said, I probably have all the box and manual stored away somewhere, but the cartridge is definitely with my other carts with the rest of my games. I guess I could try putting it all together to sell?

He originally copied Courtney Cox dancing in a music video, and over time his version of it evolved into a much more exaggerated version of that dance. That said, the version used in Fortnite is an exact copy of one specific time he performed the dance, and not just a variation of the dance (you can find side by side

This article is a good breakdown of how and why a good difficulty curve is important for a puzzle game. It also reminds me of all the ways that other games have failed at that curve. The most recent one I’ve played that comes to mind is The Witness. It’s admirable that the game tried to train the player wordlessly,

This is pretty neat. I was only vaguely aware of this kind of thing. I think I noticed it with some games like Dragon Warrior which I never saw in stores. I’m curious why this kind of thing wasn’t advertised widely, like a commercial for Blockbuster saying that game X was only available for rental and couldn’t be

That same reasoning is why I ended up with a complete-in-box copy of Daikatana for N64. I think I paid only $8, but that game was so bad I still feel kind of ripped off. Then again, I did get a copy of GTA3 at around the same time for like $20, so I guess it evens out. I probably should have rented both first.

Yeah, it’s definitely a weird way to say “people”, or “my neighbors”. My best guesses are that english isn’t his first language, or that he’s way too into D&D/LARPing/fantasy.

That’s like comparing a gunshot in the foot versus a gunshot in the kneecap. Both suck, but one just a bit less.

When I talk to girls outside of my social circle, but still the common people of the region, I feel like I’m speaking with a child, and it sucks.

I’m unable to watch the trailer at the moment, but from the description it sounds really interesting. I’m a sucker for interesting ideas in games, even if they aren’t well implemented (for instance, Magic Pen Gel and Forever Kingdom). My only worry is that this is a situation similar to how Cloverfield and The

That’s DW9?  The reviews I’ve read were so-so, but that’s true of other Warriors games I’ve played so I’m on the fence. Does the open world aspect add a lot to series?

Ugh, I have so many games on deck right now it’s hard to pick: Spider-Man, Warriors Orochi 4, Days Gone, Far Cry New Dawn, and Axiom Verge. I’ll probably plug away at Days Gone since I think I’m about to unlock the “destroy hordes” option from the pre-release videos (instead of just fighting them for “fun”). And when

As far as Law & Order, it’s really easy to watch multiple episodes at once. It helps that it has a dozen spinoffs, totaling several thousand episodes, and every channel that shows reruns seems to air them in blocks of 4+ episodes.

As examples, we have a tear line in our eye rendering—an effect to represent the buildup of liquid between the eye and lower eyelid. It’s a surprisingly difficult effect to render, but without it the character just looks wrong somehow
