As with Nintendo a few years ago, it appeared that there was a rift in the relationships between Amazon and these publishers, but nobody would explain why.

This is an interesting discussion of the issue. As for the increase in suggestive messages as the series has gone on, my personal view is that there are 2 causes: the message system becoming more versatile and having more options; the userbase expanding rapidly. When Demon’s Souls was a niche title it drew in only the…
A friend and I will be playing through the last few levels of Earth Defense Force 4.1, that way we won’t have anything in our way when EDF5 comes out.
It’s my understanding that most 80s games, and bleeding into the 90s, had these punishing design elements as a result of arcade game development, plus hardware limitations. For arcade games the primary design wasn’t to give the player a long playing experience (though fun was a necessary factor to get anyone to play).…
I can only imagine how long the first Metroid players banged their head against the wall of this game.
I kind of prefer “When was the most recent time the President cheated on the First Lady with an adult film actress?” (in the same vein as “When did you stop beating your wife?”)
Pleading guilty was my thought, as well. It’s my understanding that it’s fairly common for prosecutors to offer light sentences for pleading guilty instead of pleading innocent, especially with non-violent crimes.
I was about to say that the article lays out a potential pattern, albeit in an extremely snarky way. Then I remembered that a few years ago my family had 3 different dogs die in the same year (2 from old age, 1 from an infection we didn’t detect early enough). Unfortunately it’s difficult to be sure what’s going on…
That’s why my vote would be for DS. It’s relatively easy, and advantageous, to level multiple stats to 40 and switch up your gear for different situations. Sometimes speed is necessary, other times you’ll need heavy armor and a shield.
I was driving in the foothills looking for someone’s house for the first time. I thought I might be lost so I pulled over to check my map (this was in the 90s). Unfortunately I had missed the signs indicating that the repaved freeway was now 6"-8" higher than the shoulder. So the loud grinding noise and sudden…
Also, big box stores repeatedly tell employees not to get physically involved with shoplifters, primarily for legal and medical reasons. That’s what the loss prevention team is for.
I could be remembering wrong, but I believe the wedding scene literally was tacked on. Earlier theater releases didn’t have it, and when the movie blew up they added that on to get people to go see it again.
Re: “two yutes”
Woah, it’s even faster than that because we’re only 32(?) weeks into the year. It’s more like 1.1 games per week. That’s crazy. I’ve been playing the same 3 games for like 2 months and none of them are near done.
That hadn’t occurred to me until now. Somewhere, in a box in my garage, are plastic cases full of 5.25" 3.5" floppy disc computer games that I’m pretty sure I never beat back in the day. And I no longer have the hardware to play them.
I’ll probably continue Dishonored 2 and Shining Force. However, the main focus for the weekend will be hanging out with friends playing a bunch of old splitscreen games.
I think water and reflections will always be an issue until someone develops a decent ray casting engine. I think the hardware is probably good enough, or close to it, so now it’s just a matter of the software catching up.
That’s definitely how a lot of games did mirrors and water reflections.
Yeah, I’ve heard those before. The only reason flat-earthers came to mind is that the attached pictures reminded me of the “camera lens is bad” excuse.
But how is this event going to be disproven by flat-earthers?
