I love my SC400. For a long time it represented a dream car for me, and I spent years trying to find the right one to buy. I finally bought this one in Grand Rapids, MI. An old man traded it in on a Nissan Sentra, which is probably the saddest fate I can imagine. The reputation it has for reliability and refinement is

A Buick Regal Sportback!

Counterpoint: When the button is too close to the camera you risk getting finger oil on the backup camera.

I respectfully disagree. I think cars are better equipped in your mind than in reality. A Honda Accord LX has a 4 speaker stereo, and while the 8 speaker upgraded system you can get if you pay is pretty nice it doesn’t compare to the surround sound systems you can get in a lot of luxury cars. Your average vehicle

I’ve owned 2 cars with GM’s 2.0t, a 2016 CTS (276hp/295 lb. ft), and 2018 Regal Sportback (250hp/260 lb ft). The 2.0 in the Regal is less powerful, but is a superior engine. It is much smoother, the powerband seems much wider, and is supposedly faster to 60 than the CTS. Car and Driver puts the ‘18 Sportback at 5.6

You know, if they offered a manual I may have actually bought one of those. Yeah, I know everyone says that but I’m a GM apologist who bought a ‘16 CTS new. I’m the target market for this car, but no manual means I have to go elsewhere for a car with a manual to round out my fleet.

These advetised lease rates have helped me a lot in the past. Of course, I do have to do math on each advertisement, but every ad contains what down payments is necessary, and what incentives are included to get that prices and how you qualify for them. Taking 30 seconds to roll those numbers into the lease payment

Now the real questions is, what is the non-leather interior going to be? Crappy “leatherette” or a really nice cloth like they used to feature on the last gen Lacrosse? I’m left in despair now that the only options for car interiors are leather, fake leather, and cheap garbage cloth.

Wow, they charge $24.60 per hour for a Smart car? That’s nuts. I can reliably get a standard or full size rental for under $30 a day, if I were willing to drop down to compact or intermediate class I’m pretty much guaranteed a price below $25 a day.

I really want to see the video of the security driver coming back to truck and realizing the gold is gone!!

Will the seat go back further?! (PLEASE)

That’s why my CTS has the 2.0. I can actually drive it like I stole it (I paid for it I swear) without totally obliterating speed limits. Then again, I’ve never been one to baby my cars because I lease so I’m not too worried about long term reliability. :)

In my ATS, and now CTS the interior lights and exterior lights are on different scales. Sometimes it can be dark enough for the auto headlights to turn on, but not dark enough for the car to dim the interior illumination.

Is it really any worse than a base Corolla (so dismal), or base Cruze? I test drove one with a manual, and there was a lot to like about the Dart.

I mean, I haven’t sat in an SS so I don’t know if the quality between the leather and other materials is extremely different. I can tell you the leather, and overall feel of the interior in the ATS, and CTS is far nicer than that in an Impala or Malibu.

It’s a different driving experience. The ATS is 600 lbs. lighter, and 13 inches shorter. The ATS is about 0.5 seconds slower to 60 with the 3.6. The manual is a good point, because that’s a real advantage the SS offers.

That guy needs a better son. Who doesn’t want a free V12 Vanquish, that you presumably don’t have to maintain or insure either?

The Accord is objectively roomier than the CR-V. There is more legroom front and back, the rear seat bench is wider, and while the headroom is less that is to be expected in a sedan.

I wouldn’t say they’re similarly priced. Crossovers are almost always a few thousand more expensive than a similar sedan when comparably equipped. An Accord has a lower starting price than a CR-V, yet offers true mid-size passenger room.

No Chuumon... ;_;
