What do you expect your 2.0T to do? I believe the E Class 4 banger is only 241 HP, the VW sourced piece is what, 220 in base guise? BMW makes 240 HP and 255 Tq. What do you expect it to do? 270 hp and 295 Tq is pretty damn good. And that performance comes at the price of fuel economy. The Ferrari 360 made less torque…

Why would anyone buy a 3.6L ATS over a Chevy SS? Looking at the ATS in the link there I’m not seeing a significant improvement in the interior, or anything that would justify not having a manual or another 100ish hp.

You only get less than a year out of yours? Jebus, what are you doing with those things, towing cars? My experience with them is they last the life of the machine (aka multiple years). And they are still working when I trade the laptop in.
