Why are they even going to let him back? He has proved that he can’t be trusted to officiate fairly. Fuck him

I have missed the whole Seattle Dog thing (fortunately) - I have never seen it and only heard about it on KUOW as a local question.

Teriyaki was a thing in 1970s when Toshi’s took off. Toshi’s was the #1 Teriyaki and The Totem was the #1 fish and chips - did you get lost on an underground tour?

When I lived on Pill Hill (Summit and Seneca) in the early 80s, walking Broadway was my weekend evening entertainment.

The OED has a rule that no word is ever removed from the dictionary; then they discovered that an asshole editor in the 1980s was deleting Americanism - they did their  best to recover all that was lost  but, since the words were deleted, they have no idea what was lost.

I have a complete set of Quayle Quarterlies if anyone is interested.

When I was a youth and binge-drinking (1960s), we would drive out to one of the local grasshopper-like oil pumps because they burned off the hydrocarbon gases giving us heat and light in the middle of cold Montana winters. Plus that huge counter-weight cleared the concrete pad by about 5 inches so you could test your

Read the ingredients label on pumpkin pie filling - they don’t use pumpkins for that.

Sometimes my Sheex®are too heavy for me and those things are as light as silk - how will sleeping under something heavy help? Also, I sleep extremely hot so I am unconvinced.

That is how my cat seduced me into adopting her - she crawled right onto my lap then onto my shoulder and purred in my ear; how could I resist.

Wrong! The government does well considering that they are fighting the conservatives. I will trust the government over the conservatives any time any place. The government does a pretty good job considering how the Republicans are trying to destroy it.

Thank you for saying what I wanted to say but did not have the good words for. The Republicans have been doing their best to ruin the government but I still trust the government over the conservatives.

That is actually part of the exam to get your barber’s license. I used to play ‘pick-up-sticks’ with a barber - I did not have a chance.

What really worries me is Oleander - it is incredibly poisonous and used as a garden ornamental. When I lived in Tucson a group of scouts died because oleander grows the perfect branch for toasting hot dogs or marshmallows over a campfire.

As Asterix told Obelix on their trip to England “shut up and drink your beer before it gets cold”

Yes, they both freeze well with the vacuum sealer; I do both. When there is a good deal on some meat product, I will freeze what I can right off the bat then cook up a batch of something (lately it has been Instant Pot jambalaya), eat what I can and freeze some.

Another calculation is look at the money you spend as a result of return on investment - if you buy something for $70, at 10% ROI you need $700 in the bank (sometimes called ‘never spend capital’).

While I was working, I put all my $1 bills and all my change in a jar when I got home, every day. Every few months I would deposit about $250. This implies that I used money to buy incidentals during the day and only used my debit card for big purchases. Now that I have retired, I deposit less than $100.

For some reason I can’t initiate the 1st star (but I can add to them when someone else starts).

Thanks for the snort! Even 2 years late.
