There’s a very good article on The Root just today that talks about how white men use the bodies of people of color (and white women) as bonding rituals, that their casual cruelty against non-white men is how they bond and come together, which is why they always say, “This wasn’t intended to be racist!”

Ah yes, the good-natured spirit always involved with a raucous mob burning something in effigy.

Yeahhhhhh, fuck Jon Jones.  I’m tired of that guy.  I don’t care how good he is....if you’re always in trouble for something does it really matter.

Wait is this chud claiming that his 15-month suspension for anabolic steroids is a vindication?

I want to see a Jon Jones fight without any eye pokes or groin shots.

I’ve pondered this question myself heavily the last few days. The only answer I can come up with is that they desperately need Trump to be found innocent, or have a judge give him that blank check to hold back all the evidence and railroad any investigations into oblivion.

I actually think it’s a good picture to submit.  She looks wholesome and cute.  Avenatti has handled a lot of cases and he knows how juries think.

At this point I think we can call this “Classic” Avenatti.  Threaten something damning.  Give them a chance to clear the air (or more likely hang themselves.)  Then swing the hammer.

Nope. This has nothing to do with due process. Restricting movement or requiring GPS tracking for someone who is charged with a crime and deemed a flight risk or who has the potential to cause harm to someone does not violate any due process rights. If the state convicted him and threw him in prison without allowing

Wild of you to go for the *wink wink* “he’s brown and probably muslim” angle when the news is currently being dominated by a white catholic being a serial rapist.

Passed a ton of tax cuts for the super wealthy? Stole a Supreme Court seat? Packed the judiciary at every other level?

What the American right wants, what it’s after, isn’t some abstract pluralist success, like the smooth functioning of government and/or the material improvement of American life. It wants, only and entirely, to defeat its opponents.

Yeah, all Ben did was sexually assault several women in the meantime.

This is a little wild, and hear me out, because it’s a little complex: porn stars are human beings and have the right to refuse sex the same as any other person in any other industry

Is it that hard to imagine Donald Trump (and Roethlisberger) treating her like she was available to be passed around like a bowl of nuts?

True story - what’s even sadder for that beer vendor is that his job doesn’t even provide enough to allow him to go back to his home in Kansas to visit his father. His dad had to use some of his retirement savings to travel to Landover just to be able to see his boy.

jfc I feel so bad for the victim in this. Not only was she assaulted, humiliated, and made to believe she was going to die but then the legal system basically goes ‘lol it’s no biggie he seems like a good guy’.

Now playing

“When the woman called the police, they pushed her to not press charges, saying it was only her word versus his.”

Is this really the world we want to live in, where we scour through people’s social media posts to find something questionable they said TWO DAYS AGO to destroy their careers?  Honestly, who even cares what a school superintendent said when he was only 53 years and 263 days old?  How do you know he isn’t a completely

Leader of men, assaulter of women.
